3. Great to have more info on Anne
Christy ,   Boston, US   (03.21.10)
Anne's story is one that all people, young and old, can relate to. It's a good introduction to what happened to the Jews under the Nazis. Through Anne's story, the reader is introduced to the Nazis' rounding up and wanting to hurt the Jews. The Holocaust becomes real to children, and adults, via Anne's Diary. It's good there are people who knew Anne and her family helping to augment the story. There have been a few friends and acquaintances of Anne and her family who have contributed more information via their various books. Anne's story is a starting place for many people who learn about what happened to Jews, and others, under the Nazis. I think it's great that Anne got her wish - to be a famous author!
