Netanyahu is still a young man compared to the old Sharon. The latter caved in on Ghush Khatif because he was to old and frail to withstand the pressure of the dark forces. However, Netanyahu is young and strong. There is no reason to cave in to external pressures. In fact, Netanyahu should confront and counter those who try to play king on Israel.
Netanyahu's top priority is to protect Israel's sovereignty and national security interests. The pressure of external entities on Israel becomes irrelevant.
The GOD of Israel will protect Israel. He has given and restored the Land of Israel to Israel as a fulfillment of His Covenant of Restoring Modern Israel in their Ancient Land of Israel. And He will insure no dark forces will prevail against Israel. Turn to the GOD of Israel for help. He is Israel's Rock, Fortress, Shield, Deliverer, GOD, Strength, Salvation and Stronghold. Psalm 18:2.
