1. Expell the UK ambassador
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (03.24.10)
That will get those anti-Semitic Limeys' attention.
2. professor of?
rob ,   uk   (03.24.10)
utter hokum the moves were backed by all parties in the uk. its likely france and others will do the same. the australians are itching for revenge and this nuttter thinks its a great opportunity. it should be interesting to hear from the diplomats when they look for support on goldstone how this total screw up has helped them
3. Lost my vote
Steve ,   London   (03.24.10)
I shall not be voting Labour! and BTW Mossad can use my British passport to eliminate Hamas Terro any day of the week!
4. British Protest
Bruria   (03.24.10)
Pardon me, but I listened to Miliband and he offered no proof. He said he had good reason to believe that is was probably Israel. Face it--he wants to boost his political career and in the UK antisemitism works. Pathetic.
5. #4 Bruria try checking your facts
Avi ,   Israel   (03.24.10)
MP David Miliband is Jewish, so there goes your antisemitism theory. You also ignore the fact that this is not the 1st time Israel has stolen passport identies, have you forgotten the New Zealand affair, or how about 10 years ago when it was proved Israel stole the identies of Canadian citizens and also prior to that IN 1986 the Mossad stole the identies of British citizens , so stop playing the antisemitism card and deal with the facts. What if a foreign nation stole your idenity and then a year later you are arrested when going on holiday. No doubt you will be screaming antisemitism as they drag you away.
6. Perfidious Albion
Ozraeli   (03.24.10)
From everything I have read about Milibrand, he is a weak personality , inexperienced, immature, out of his depth, & has risen to power because of UK political scandal & retirement of better candidates. He declares himself Jewish when politically convenient, & hides when convenient. Reading his declarations, he is a foppish fool & knave. He (and the weak Gordon Brown) are "playing to the galleries", Islamists, & pandering to the UK Left. The idea that the completely unproven (& ostentatiously "documented") successful elimination of a mass murderer, terrorist, arms dealer, & general scum of the earth should somehow be punished is idiotic. The idea that MI5/6 or an SAS taskforce would not (& has on many occasions) used other countries passports to do the same thing is manifest hypocrisy. The idea that Israel would send 26+ operatives, using known dual citizen's passports, with correct current addresses, to a Dubai Disneyland "Spy Junket", allowing themselves to be so comprehensively documented, is professionally ridiculous. The idea that in a world where LITERALLY hundreds of thousands of passports are lost every year; where it is so easy to collect personal data; where circumstances dictate that there is a clearly motivation for a "False Flag" operation; that unproven diplomatic insinuations should be floated is astounding. The idea that the country that is probably giving the UK more relevant intelligence than any other, keeping UK citizens (Muslims too!) safe, should be castigated & punished, without any substantiation is disgusting. The Empire that the sun has already sunk on, is sinking even further into irrelevancy. I am sure Shakespeare had something trenchant & insightful to say about this type of conduct. I look forward to seeing UK politicians painting their faces blue, howling at the moon, & sinking further into pagan rituals. BTW, to see more about the UK backstabbing, premeditated punishment of Israel, read http://www.debka.com/article/8671/
7. Passports Jitters
Rodney ,   Gisborne, N Z   (03.24.10)
A load of hogwash. Did the speaker mention other suspects who may be involved? e.g. Jordan, Egypt, Iran, Kawait, as the victim was also disliked by Moslems in the terrorism business as well. Yep, it's election time in the UK and going anti-Semetic is no way to gain vote. In my book - he's a loser.
8. #2 - yet this act comes on heels of no real proof
William ,   Israel   (03.24.10)
This is more telling of the British people and their govt than the expulsion of one Israeli diplomat. Infact, the only damning evidence I see from the Europeans and their bastard child, Australia, is their total disregard for the judicial system and feel justified to hang a party on circumstantial evidence though nothing concrete has been found. Do you just hate other people or have you devolved into self-righteous rule where justice is best left for the history books? Per comments like your's I believe more strongly that rather than "lose" Western" support, the racist EU was just waiting for a moment to strike against Israel and make it look justified.
9. #4
dupe ,   uk   (03.24.10)
er.. milliband is jewish . why would he want to boost his career in anti semitism? check at least before posting nonsense. at least the nonsense will sound better
10. UK is WEAK
Bobby ,   USA   (03.24.10)
Israel openly admits that their embassies are crawling with international terrorists err I mean MOSSAD agents and the UK still allow them to operate on UK soil Pathetic. Your a Gentile nation for gods sake. Show some god damn self respect.
11. Milliband is Jewish, calling him anti semite is insult to
Aaron Israel ,   London and Tel Aviv   (03.24.10)
those who really suffer real and genuine anti semitism. regardless of his opinions on Israel, he is Jewish as are many senior members of the British parliament, including the main speaker of the house John Berko who signs off these things. Millibands family were in the holocaust. talkbackers grow up. use the term anti semite so loosely means you have no brains and no ability to form an argument, its like fighting with someone and to shut them up you just call them fat.
12. Disgustingly Funny.
damon mccann ,   thibodaux, LA USA   (03.24.10)
Chickent Twirlers celebrating and joking about a heinous murder. Guess they were just trying to strike "terror" into legitimate resistance movement. "Bye Bye Zionist-American Pie- Netanyahoo's a Looney and Avigdor should fry".
13. to #5 wrong he declair himself as religious less
ghostq   (03.24.10)
him and any connection to jJudaism is purly accidental.
14. What about reasonable doubt and critical thinking...
Talula ,   Israel   (03.24.10)
It's not enough that the UK think Israel did it, or there's 'compelling' evidence. Without concrete evidence, they have no business expelling any Israeli diplomat. David Miliband has been reading too many 'compelling' spy novels. The UKs lack of critical thinking and intellectual clarity makes me wonder how many innocent people are serving prison sentences in the UK.
15. predictable
debbie ,   israel   (03.24.10)
TO AVI, ISRAEL Are you saying that it is only Israel, that does this, that forges passports or uses false identities? If so, then how do other secret services operate? I venture a guess that this is a widespread tactic used by secret services and intelligence agencies all over the world. The only reason that it is being condemned is because Israel may be involved. I would say that this tactic is also used in England, the US, France, Australia, etc.
16. to #15 clearly Avi got years of experience
ghostq   (03.24.10)
in espionage and he never in his life heard on forge paper, he just forgets history now and again or anything that related to facts, you see in dreifus someone forge paperes and put the blame on the Jew officer, neadless to say the forge papers were by German spies and not by jew, but to the Franch it was enough to find scape goat. and now Avi thinks that today spy industry goes by telepathy, mmm even non gov entity use personal data only Avi doesn't know it, like commertial companies for marketing purposes. and it's easy to get personal data and cards. especially in the digital age.
17. So he's Jewish.....so what
Talula ,   Israel   (03.24.10)
He's also the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs - He also took on a job that would involve coming up against Israel from time to time - who expects him to step down and condemn the world to save Israel? Maybe his immigrant Jewish Polish parents, but not me. Rahm Emanuel is an American Jew, currently serving as White House Chief of Staff to President Barack Obama - that hasn't helped us much either. We shouldn't focus on the who's who of Judaism - it's just not helpful right now.
18. #5 who needs enemies with you around.
David ,   Tel Mond, Israel   (03.24.10)
19. Stop with the 'anti Semitism' nonsense
Avi ,   Afula   (03.24.10)
it's starting to get embarrassing. I'm seeing it more and more in talk backs, anyone who criticises us is an anti Semite it's getting ridiculous. We need to except and suck it up when we screw up. When Jews call people anti Semites it's no different to Iran convicting people for acts against god, is this what we want to be?
20. professor of?
solar plexus ,   Simon's Town, South   (03.24.10)
Oh, get over your hypocritical outrage. Britain has done far worse and Israel will continue to do what it needs in order to stay alive, whatever you and your ilk have to say about it.
21. Avi form Israel is right about Anti-semitism
Ted ,   UK   (03.24.10)
I don't understand why all of you here criticise Avi, he is absolutely right when it comes to the usage of anti-semitisim as an excuse every time Israel is criticised. Believe me most of the UK citizens are NOT anti-semite (at least I can't see them around here..) but by using anti-semitism so "cheaply" you causing it to loose it's real meaning.
22. Regrettably, This is Just UK Politics
Christy ,   Boston, US   (03.24.10)
I wish they'd come out and state what 'proof / good reason to believe' Israeli involvement they have. If anyone reads a couple of the British daily papers and follows the comments you'll see that in the upcoming elections the two main parties, Labor and Tory, have NOT addressed the main concerns of the British public, to the satisfaction of the British Public. The British Public seems furious, and frustrated, that their concerns are not being addressed correctly. I think this issue with Britain getting tough about the passports is just a vain attempt by one party to placate the public. The British Public doesn't seem to be buying it. They are concerned about other things.
23. Serve him right
Sophie ,   England   (03.24.10)
On David Miliband's next visit to Israel to see his family, he better watch his passport as he might find himself in some Arab country knocking off some vile terrorist!
24. Media Coverage
Timberwolf ,   Bristol, UK   (03.24.10)
Interesting to hear the UK radio and TV over this. I heard a BBC radio presenter asking Milliband if we need friends like the Israelis and suggesting the individuals whose passports were cloned should sue the Israeli government. Also, the presenter on C4 News said to Milliband that Israel steals other people's land and it's only now that this country is taking action. So much for impartiality. This country is being brainwashed by the left and Islamic lobby.
25. British Expell Israeli diplomat
Benjamin ,   Greenville USA   (03.24.10)
Why does Israel care what Britain does? The British do not have an empire, India has a better navy than the UK, and India is a better arms customer for Israel than the UK, the UK has always been pro-Arab, and the UK has never provided Israeli with aid. The UK is a nation of pompous has beens. Israel needs to get some backbone and send the British ambassador packing. Aside from brusing their anti-semitic egos, Israel has nothing to lose with the UK. Remember it is 2010 and 1947. Benjamin
26. I strongly recommend this in order to...
Humphrey Appleby ,   Whitehall, UK   (03.24.10)
understand HM's governments foreign policy regarding the subject. PM: I gather we're planning to vote against Israel in the UN tonight. Foreign Secretary: Of course. PM: Why? Foreign Secretary: They bombed the PLO. PM: But the PLO bombed Israel! Foreign Secretary: Yes but the Israelis dropped more bombs than the PLO did! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgLg9zQH3vU
27. Bless you #26
Britt ex   (03.24.10)
Loved it.
28. Yes, Mr. Appleby, but as the PM's primary
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (03.24.10)
secretary and chief bureaucrat, what would you tell the PM and what would your behind-the-scenes intent be given that you, not him, rule the British government?
29. #28
Humphrey Appleby ,   Whitehall, UK   (03.25.10)
I know it must be hard for a anybody to understand this, but I'm merely a civil servant. I simply do as I am instructed by my master. The latter tends to panic, he needs activity. It is his substitute for achievement.
