Even if the methodology of the poll is correct, it shows that only 60% of Jews support him, rather than the 80% that voted for him. That is a milestone of enormous impact. Most Jews vote against their economic interest and often against their foreign policy interest to be seen as on the side of social justice. First, I suspect, it was biased in selection of people being polled, which probably make 59% figure very low still. Second, Obama is not Israel's leader. It is only natural for him to be polled higher than if it were otherwise. Obama's rating at home is less then 50% and falling steadily. Third, what difference does popularity of any national leader makes outside national borders? Foreigners do not vote in national elections.

There are 2 possible explanations for the announced results of this poll: 1. The American Jewish community does not care about Judaism, its heritage, or the welfare of Israel. If this is the case, the American Jewish community has adopted left-wing causes as its religion and would vote Democratic no matter who the candidate is. Just think. J Street's claims Obama has 59% support among American Jews deserves as much respect as all it's previous polls, which are proven frauds. Moreover, an astounding 67% of Americans, Democrat and Republicans, want the Republicans to continue challenging Obamacare. This makes Obamacare one of the most unpopular laws in American history. The status quo we have led for the past 20 years has not lead us to peace...in fact we are farther away than ever. It is time for the U.S. and the World to actively pursue a peace agreement because it is clear that the Israelis and Palestinians will not reach peace on their own. Israel's current rightist government is far more interested in building settlements than they are in peace. We must pressure them to change this path for the good of the region and the World.
