Which part of "Palestine" was the organization was supposed to "liberate" at that time...??!! They have never been interested in an "independent state", through talks or any other means. Their entire motive has been and continues to be the denial of the right of a non-Muslim and non-Arab people, the Jewish people, to set up its own independent state on any parcel of land in the country. This article illustrates very well that Abbas and his cohorts are simply pawns in the hands of the Arab States...used to pursue their own agendas. If the Arab League was really interested in helping their fellow Arabs in Judea and Samaria, the League meeting would be about building schools, hospitals, jobs markets, and community centers (i.e. institutions for a viable state) - not about starting another war against Israel. Ron, your solution is the real solution. Arabs are already permanently emigrating from Judea and Samaria by the tens of thousands every year. There are, at most, about 1.5 million Arabs in Judea and Samaria. Israel need only offer good financial incentives to multiply this rate many times over. Judea and Samaria Arabs have been telling pollsters for decades they want to leave. Israel should help them do so. It's win/win for everyone.
