Max & David Fleischer, two JEWISH brothers responsible for those brilliant B&W Popeye cartoons (as well as MULTIPLE others - including Miss Betty Boop) since 1932! & the voices of some of the characters were JEWISH voices including that of Olive Oil - Mae Questel (who was also Ms. Boop's voice & alter ego; Ms. Questel was also the character 'Aunt Bluebell' in famous American TV commercials of the 60's & 70's). 70-80% of popular American culture (movies, books, toys, candy, artwork, food fads & co.'s) since the music of the early 1900's were lovingly created by proud & patriotic JEWISH Americans - always less than 1% of the entire American population!!!

I grew up watching Popeye and can't wait to see the 3D animated version! I do hope they keep it true to the light- heartedness and fun of the original and don't follow the current trend of in-your-face sex and violence.
