Israeli actions are not the root of anti-semitism - Arab and European anti-semitism is rooted in Islamic and Christian religious doctrine against Jews. Let's put an end to your asinine contention that Israel's actions (in order to defend its citizens, by the way) are the cause of anti-Semitism. The Holocaust took place before the State of Israel existed. Talk about ignorant and prejudiced people.

Of course people aren't born being prejudiced against *anyone*. The hatred and prejudice is taught and caught. It takes on a life of its own and spreads like an virulent infection. This is done via propaganda in the media, through various leaders, and in institutions. Prejudice and hatred for a group can become like a religion unto itself. The articles of faith state that group X is bad, has done wrong, wants to take over and/or kill us, etc..Stories are repeated and embellished. Some of the stories have been around at least since the last century. I've observed that once a group of people is looked at through a filter of hatred and prejudice -- nothing any member of that group does is ever any good.
