If we are truthful about recent events we know, without doubt, that the proposed building in Jerusalem is a "red herring" of the the failed Obama policy re Israel/Palestinians. What Obama hasn't realized, being the amateur foreign policy maker that he is, is that his consistent pressure, directed solely on Israel, has had the effect of unifying the electorate in Netanyahu's corner. Not exactly what he had in mind. It has also empowered the "do nothing" Abbas to just sit back and smile while Obama does his bidding. ..... If he has ambitions of running again he will not get my vote.

US foreign secretary clinton is comparable to olmert-totally useless , cowardly and without results. Even Karzai is not enamoured with obama. So Obama looks around and sees that his only real allies are israel , france, canada and australia. The Eu are a bunch of gutless p ussies worried abouit their restive moslem populations and rightfullly so. Russia has its own agenda and right now putin is going to eliminate moslem terror unless it was an internal job. So the US has the arab world which obama has cultivated and militarily they are unreliable and useless except for Egypt. Obama looks in the mirror and realizes he is in trouble. So Israel, do not give up your soverignty, be an ally of the US but tell clinton to piss off if she ever blasts bibi again. ..there is much that could be done as the international community does not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and sections of Jerusalem are contested to this day since the war that was precipitated by Israel. There are those who think they understand divine intention and that the deed of property has already been bequeathed upon the Jews. Reality alert: would this be the same god who protected the Jews from the Inquisition, countless pogroms and shoah? Let us get a grip on reality. For the time being the Americans are content in keeping the status quo. It is because of that- and nothing else- which decides if the world continues to be a spectator to the theft.

The residents of Jerusalem should be free to express by means of a referendum their wishes as to possible modifications of regime of the City. I think a resolution in UNSC which 'only' condemns building over green line is hardly worthy of the types of comments leveled at the POTUS. Like the crazy birthers and more recent tea party losers, you read and hear in the media these individuals 'ideology' seems to cause them to accuse others using half truth and lie to smear those who disagree. Those who wish to respond to this post could possibly answer why a UNSC which affirms US policy , which a condemnation would do, a US policy which is over fourty years old. is so bad? prehaps its a fear that this might not be the last such UNSC, As a supporter of Israel I urge Israeli's to get to table before a deal is imposed.

In short, the Arab-speaking populations of Asia and Africa number about 38,000,000 souls and occupy approximately 2,375,000 square miles, many times larger than the territory of Great Britain. In other words under the reconstruction of the map of the east, the Arabs have been given practical control of Greater Arabia, Mesopotamia, Syria, and parts of Egypt, which gives them an average of 38 acres per person. If the Arabs are compelled to leave Palestine and turn it over entirely to the Jews, it is admitted that the Arab race would still be one of the wealthiest landowning races on the earth. Therefore, I contend that if they will not consent to live peaceably with the Jews, they should be made to sell their lands and retire to places reserved for them somewhere in Arabia [Saudi], Syria, Mesopotamia, or Egypt, that suit them best, and where they can worship Allah, Mahomet [Muhammad], and the Koran to their heart's content. After all is said, the fact remains that the Arabs have more lands than they need, and the Jews have none.
