Well us Turks are well known for our hospitality. Indeed during the fleeing of the Jews escaping the Spanish invited all the jews to come live in the Turkish Empire where they prospered. Durring WW2, The then Turkish Ambassedor to Germany gave Turkish citizenships to the Jews so the nazi scum could not touch them. I suggest you read your history to understand who your real friends are.. The Turks or the Europeans? The Muslims or the Christians? Ask yourself who the Jews were running away from and going where for safe haven.

The comment made by ghj was not intended as a criticism of Turkey but, rather, of Israeli Arabs who are eager to take advantage of every benefit of Israeli citizenship but who shun all responsibility and appreciation. You are correct when you write that the many Jews found a refuge in Turkey. Nonetheless, it must be said that the present government of Turkey have decided to terminate a period of increasingly good relations between Turkey and Israel. The Turkish president has taken every opportunity to slander, criticise, and condemn Israel for defending itself. There is little doubt that he intends to subvert the reforms of the last century. It plays well in damas and tehran. One will see if the consequences of the policy are equally well received by the Turkish people.

on those travelling to turkey. This only enforces the belief of the Jews that the arabs here are a fifth column. The hara-dim are the sixth column.
5. #2, explain then why so few Jews live in Turkey?

7. #6: Israel has been the land of the Jews for millenia
dante ,   uk   (04.02.10)
you have not noticed that Bosnia is not Israel? thousands of years before the muslim military conquest of the Holy Land, the Jews lived there. the land was given to the Jews by Almighty. the Quran says the same thing; Muslims just ignore anything that interferes with their present campaign against the Jews. ISRAEL: THE SAME FAITH, THE SAME PEOPLE, THE SAME LANGUAGE, THE SAME LAND AS 4,000 YEARS AGO!!!
8. A Slap In The Face
EZ ,   USA   (04.02.10)
The fact that one of the main 'attractions' for Israeli Arabs to go to Turkey is a blatantly anti-semitic television series (or two) is a big fat slap in the face from the arabs themselves. And it further underscores the deep underlying rift between arab and Jew. This is just a cold, hard fact that we must deal with. Perhaps these 'arabs' should be given permenant visas to turkey so they can enjoy the high unemployment rates there instead of the hospitality and high employment wages in Israel??? Let them choose. Its blatan prejudice and anti-semitism coming AGAIN, as usual, from arabs. Disgusting.

Answer to number 5! What kind of stupid question is that? "Explain then why so few Jews live in Turkey?" I would think it has something to do with the Jews having their own country so near by. Perhaps you could explain why so many Jews used to go on holiday to Turkey? Or perhaps you could explain why there are so few Turks in Israel? Look guys it was not the government of Turkey who made the anti Israel (not anti Jewish) drama. If the Turkish Government banned it it would be against what you call freedom of speach etc. I dont hear the Germans complaining about anti Nazi fils made over and over for decades. Finally, Israeli government like ALL goevernments are hypocrites and only serve their interests so leave the Turks alone. I have been there many a time with no issues of any sort at all.
10. Indeed, Look at hte Pals
#6 ,   Calgary, Canada   (04.02.10)
They have a life expectancy higher than the world average and higher than in your country, India. Their economic conditions are impeded only by the rejectionist attitude of their leaders who insist that Israel must be destroyed. Diplomacy? What diplomacy do you speak of? If to you diplomacy means to accept 6 million Pal 'refugees' into Israel proper and give up a Jewish homeland---uhhh, no thanks, Sharique. Let them go to New Delhi. You won't even notice them.

Turkey? A nation that spent the last few hundred years in corruption and destruction. The wasted the lands in the Ottoman Empire, then committed genocide against the Armenians and are currently battling the truth of their own history and the Kurds and the Greeks and any European country that isn't exactly enamored with them joining the EU. The life expectancy of a Turk is 2 years less than the life expectancy of someone in Gaza. Maybe Erdogan should shut his mouth about Israel and start working to make life better for his own people. Having Arab Israelis flock to Turkey because it is so cheap is an insult in its own right.
