Maybe now Russia will take the war on terror seriously and stop supplying nuclear know how to Iran, which is the root of all terrorism in the Middle east and elsewhere. It is time for all the free nations of the world to join together and wipe out terrorism once and for all,United we stand against terrorism, however if we are divided then we will fail in the war on Terror!
3. Very Painful
tony ,   abuja, nigeria   (03.31.10)
These are very painful incidents. But Experience, they say, is the best teacher. I hope Putin and Medvedev will now appreciate the problem Israel has been facing for many years now, stop condemning Israel and support Israel in the fight against terror. May the Almighty God comfort the bereaved families.

Arn. ,   SWEDEN.   (03.31.10)
Attacks linked to the insurgency that persists nearly a decade after the second post-Soviet separatist war in Chechnya had been limited mostly to the North Caucasus in recent years ( before the Monday bombings on Moscow's metro. - -THEIR BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER, KILLING RUSSIAN CIVILIANS). The provincial police spokesman said Kizlyar police chief Vitaly Vedernikov was among the dead. At least six other police officers, an investigator and a civilian were killed, Russian news agencies cited police as saying. Dagestan, is plagued by frequent attacks targeting police and government officials. THIS IS RIGHT ACTS AS SUCH !!!. HOW STUPID TO GIVE THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT , THE SUPPORT OF THEIR OWN RUSSIAN POPULATION, TO ACT AGAINST THOSE TERRORISTS BY A UNITED RUSSIA. TO KILL INNOCENT CIVILIANS IS POLITICALLY TOTALY MEANINGLESS, AND ONLY RISES HATE TOWRDS THOSE STANDING BEHIND THOSE ACTS. ANYBODY PROVOCING RUSSIA, AND UNITE IT BY SUCH ACTS, WILL LOOSE. A UNITED RUSSIA, WILL NEVER GIVE IN, TO ANYTHING OR ANYBODY, THIS HISTORY HAS SHOWN. Arn.

jason white ,   afula, israel   (03.31.10)
home to roost. You paid trained armed and protected terrorists for decades and thousands of innocents have died or been wounded. Your turn to bleed! Why not send goldstone to chechenya to write a report on russian attrocities?
8. Occupation
Jessica ,   Los Angeles Ca   (03.31.10)
Just like America in Iraq??
9. So, let's bring up Iran
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.31.10)
.. and see if the Russians have changed their mind about enforcing strong sanctions. Who do you suppose is funding all the recent terror and the ongoing unrest in Chechen? Ya think? Oh yeah.
10. Chag Sameach Sarah
Yaron ,   USA   (03.31.10)
Of course it will never be mentioned in the public debate as the world powers are dancing around the subject. As we know, all too well, the vile consequences of targeting civilians for the aim of advancing political goals...now the Russians have been reminded again. Let's hope, if nothing else, that the honest debate of the nexus that exists between a theocracy with WMD colluding with regional terror groups and threatening large population centers with epic-proportions of death and destruction. That is what the world should be debating....not the nonsense that is consuming our leaders at the present time.
11. #9 the iranians didn't even blink an eye to the russian ...
Mark ,   Netherlands   (03.31.10)
Slaughter in chechnya... Something most muslim countries condemned. May I also remind you that it was the same russia who found israeli made weapons in georgia...Just a reminder....
12. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.31.10)
There is nothing illegal in Israel selling its Israeli-designed and Israeli-manufactured weapons to a sovereign state such as the Republic of Georgia. They actually come with end-user certificates, which most Russian-designed and Russian-manufactured weapons do not, which explains why so many find their way into the clutches of some very unsavory people, such as in the Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Zaire, the Congo -- oh, pick your trouble spot, and there you will find ILLEGALLY TRAFFICKED RUSSIAN WEAPONS. Moslem countries condemned the slaughter? I must have missed that. Has any high-ranking Moslem imam issued a fatwa? Didn't think so. You need to stop babbling, Mark. You're in WAY over your head.
13. To: Yaron at No. 10
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.31.10)
And a very Chag Sameach to you as well, Yaron. The problem with the Russians (as it was with the former Soviet Union) is that they really don't seem to have much of a problem when their civilians die in the millions. My goodness, half the time, it was the Soviets/Russians who were responsible for the slaughter. This time, though, it isn't the Russians doing it -- and it isn't just Chechen. It's been exported to Moscow. The Moslem terrorists are stretching their wings, and I suspect that the Russians are going to start to be concerned just a tadbit more. If they are smart, they will realize that they are being targeted by Iran and its terror proxies on an increasing scale because the pressure being exerted on Russia by, inter alia, the United States and the EU (and the economic clout being used as leverage) is bringing Russia around. Maybe if they'll put down the vodka long enough to figure out what's going on, they will realize exactly what Iran is doing. Or maybe not.
14. Mark @ 11, interestingly enough Russians also found
leo ,   usa   (03.31.10)
American made weapons in Georgia, then they found Soviet made weapons in Georgia, then they found Ukrainian made weapons in Georgia, then they found Russian made weapons in Georgia and then Russians concluded all of those must be Georgian weapons. I am sure you are using Netherlands made computer right now.
