ElBaradei must have been too busy with the IAEA to read the newspapers for the last few years. Where are the western suported dictators in Somalia, Soudan, Darfur? Who is killing Muslims in these countries as well as in the majority of cases in Afghanistan & Irak if not other Muslims? The bloody chaos the various extreme Islamist groups are trying to exacerbate is just their way to try gaining control through terror & disorder. Should these groups come out as victorious, they would not be any better than western leaning autocrats as the Iran case has amply demonstrated.

Muslims are their own worst enemies, it is easy to blame the West but the West has help make the problems worst by using so much oil and drugs Israel needs to find a fair solution but it needs the Jordan river valley as a border or security will always be a problem, the north and south borders are small enough to defend but not the eastern border.

Western policy in the Middle East has been a zero sum game. With the advent of world communications not controlled by the governments in power, the populations of these countries become more and more restless.
