Congratulations to the Egyptian securiy forces on the distruction of the arms cache found in the Sinia. May only good tidings and pleasantry be the future for the Egyptians.
2. HMMM - ??? -
Arn. ,   SWEDEN.   (04.01.10)
A security source told the paper that the cache was seized near the city of Nahal, located on the smuggling route to Gaza, and that it contained some 100 antiaircraft missiles, - WHERE ARE THE LAUNCHERS ??? According to the report, the officer in charge of security in northern Sinai received information that the smugglers were storing a large amount of explosives and ammunition left from past wars in the region, east of Nahal. -PAST WARS - ??? - - FUTURE WAR- ???. - WEPON AND AMUNITION USUALLY ALWAYS GO TOGHETER, OTHERWISE, WEPON OR AMUNITION BY THEMSELVES ARE USELESS. HMMM - !!! - ???. Arn.

the launchers are already in Gaza....
5. why hiding?
observer   (04.01.10)
"the (Israeli) officer in charge of security in northern Sinai" , why hiding the citizenship of the officer? because there is complete cooperation between Israel & Egypt in the exchange of information? "the Egyptian police had confiscated in Sinai 41 vehicles used for smuggling operation into the Gaza Strip.". why hiding the nature of material smuggled? because there is complete cooperation between Israel & Egypt in hiding that most of the smuggled material is food and living commodities?
6. antiaircraft missiles & RPGs
observer   (04.01.10)
there must have been at least 10X amount of those by now in Gaza. That means; next incursion into Gaza ground or air will not easy anymore. the RPGs took its toll from most Israeli casualties in 1973. Israel should have considered not publishing news like those!
7. imagine...
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.01.10)
Imagine if Jimmy Carter did not force Israel out of Sinai. Israel would be energy independent and there would be beautiful Jewish cities in Sinai. The Bedouins of Sinai would be Israeli citizens, receiving education and health care and wouldn't need to resort to human, weapons and drugs trafficking to survive. Sinai would be free of terrorists and Hamas wouldn't be able to arm, so Egypt would be more stable. There would be real peace. Thank you Jimmy Carter.

Arn. from Sweden. You seem not to understand that when ammunition ends, it is usually renewed, like a refill after you drink your first coffee. Do you always wonder when you have your existing cup refilled, why it isn't done with a new cup each time? Are coffee refills useless? Come on, you naive North European, wake up!

It seems that you have very often well phrased but rather biased answers to much of the comments done here. I would be interrested in understanding why you found ins positive that Hamas are staching up on amrs which will inflict more damage whenerv the next provkoed round of fighting starts. I woyuld also like to know if you surf on arabian newspaper sites and send in similar comments condemming the situation regarding the developments in those countries such as Syria, Iran, Egypt, Afganistan, Libya and so forth or do you find special interrest only in harrassing Israel? It seems that if you're so concerned with 'injustices' that are done to the so called Palestinians you would found very much other areas/countries to be equially concerned about. Also, what are yourt opnions about the Nato/US led operations in Afganistan and especially the drone strikes routinelly performed by the US. Do you found those worth condemention or not or is just when IDF does something that you think it is unjust and disproportianal? Finally, it would also be interresting to know where you're located. With regards Fredrik

You are right. Observer seems to be as objective as are the UN observers in our region. Then it is also fashionable to amplificate one spot only, and ignore others, such as Darfour, Afghanistan, Nigeria, etc. Not much seems to be at stake elsewhere, more han the Middle East. See how Moscow will act against terrorism and compare the world's reactions.

Ha Ha Ha, you got us, funny Arn.!!! Good, good! See the others react and eat your popcorn while others fight! Your next step will be the denial of the existence of the holocaust, (unfortunately you shall not be the first) and you shall find those who will believe you and support your claims. Life's funny on the Internet
15. TALKBACKS NR 9 AND 14, - AND 10.
Arn. ,   SWEDEN.   (04.01.10)
THERE ARE 2 OPTIONS ON THIS. EITHER THE LAUNCHERS ARE NOT FOUND WITH THE MISSILES AND ARE HIDDEN SOMWHERE AROUND - OR - THEY ARE IN GAZA. A CONCLUSION YOU SEEM TO HAVE REALISED FROM 9 TO 14. BY THE WAY - YOU ONLY SEEMS AS A CILLY JERK TO ME. AND NUMBER 10. YOU SEEMS TO ME TO BE EVEN WORSE THAN NUMBER 9 AND 14. AMAZING WHAT KIND OF CILLY JERKS THERE ARE, ALWAYS JUMPING ON WRONG CONCLUSIONS. Arn.
16. Just use MLR if the use anti-aircraft missile
MLR   (04.01.10)
it cheaper and more effective that way.
17. Hey Arn
Eyal ,   USA   (04.01.10)
Shut up already, you are a pathetic little child who doesn't know wtf he is talking about. Perhaps they hid the launchers in the sand, who cares...what's your point?
18. Arms Cache
mark ,   canada   (04.01.10)
Silly, silly # 2. Doesn't matter where the launchers are, does it? The smuggling of arms and accessories is in itself, intent. Europeans puzzle us, in more ways than one.
19. When will these idiots give up?
ez ,   los angeles usa   (04.01.10)
Its pathetic how ignorant Hamas is and how willing they are to continue to shed the blood of their own people. This cache find underscores the urgency that confronts Israel concerning the need to completely destroy and dismantle militant organizations in the Gaza strip. I don't know how Israel can allow Gaza to remain as it is any longer. If this was the US: Gaza would have been COMPLETELY taken over, most of its people deported and the land permanently siezed and annexed. Why Israel has not done the same is beyond me. As if it will tarnish the image the international community has so unfairly placed on her. Screw the UN, EU and the international community (and obama the amateur); get it over with; destroy Hamas and take Gaza back permanently.
