1. obama's policies....
OZ   (04.03.10)
let's see-- here's an immature, inexpereince "president' who was voted in on the whims of""change", and so far managed to break 50% of his campaign promises, wreak havoc on the us economy, double its defeicit in a year, but most importantly, he has weaken america to its knees. from bowing to the saudi tyrant, to his apologising tour in cairo, this lunatic socailst, has empowered his moslem bretheren , and has weaken america's freinds- poland ,check republic ,taiwan, france ,germany and of course, israel. how do you say jimmy carter in kenyan?=== barak hussein obamaa.
2. Obama is bound to be true
BONO ,   Paris   (04.03.10)
“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. We are not bound to succeed, but we are bound to let whatever light we have shine.”
3. False analysis
Cosmopolitan   (04.03.10)
The author does not mention the radicalism of the Israeli government. Only last year did the PM agreed to the creation of a Palestinian State with quasi-sovereignty, the Foreign minister's supporters were calling for the death of the Arabs during the election, and the religious parties in the government won't give up "Judea and Samaria". How should Obama deal with the most extreme government in Israel's history, especially when they humiliate his vice-president? He also fails to mention why the Radicals in the Muslim world are gaining ground. Isn't the Intifada and the Israeli-Palstinian conflict the reason for the popular rise of Hamas and Hezbollah? Israelis used to say that they cannot negotiate as long as the Palestinians are sending suicide bombers. Well what is their reason now? The Palestinian Authority has dismantled all the terrorists cells in the west bank, and has been more effective then the IDF in stopping terrorists. How should you repay them? by humiliating them in front of the radicals who now have a stronger incentive to believe that the Israelis will never allow the creation of a Palestinian state even if you preserve their security. If the Israelis want peace and they want the Arabs with them to confront Iran, what are they waiting for?
4. Y'all better listen to the Obamanator Now you listen!
Ravvi-Oli ,   Alexis, NC USA   (04.03.10)
B.H.O. That long legged Mack Daddy can't run America. Why does he insist on running other countries business? Even a person with a lobotomy would understand that you don't poke the eye of the Creator!
5. We can't keep depending on Arab radicals to save Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.03.10)
Israel owes a great deal of thanks to Arab radicals. Many times Israeli leaders lacked the courage to say "NO" to a phony peace initiative, which would destroy Israel within a few years. Luckily, Arab radicals have said "No" for us. Oslo is only one of many examples. Had we allowed Oslo to be implemented, Israel would not exist today. Arab radicals appear, thankfully, to be rejecting the monstrous Two State Final Solution, which would destroy Israel within a decade. Arab moderates are willing to wait a decade to destroy Israel. Arab radicals aren't. However, Israel can't keep depending on Arab radicals to save our nation. We MUST have leaders who can say "NO" for us.
6. Peace Prize Winner
Dallas ,   Canada   (04.03.10)
The world is upside down.
7. Hello!? Jerusalem IS the conflict.
Ali ,   Washington DC   (04.03.10)
There will never be peace without a Palestinian state /w capital in East Jerusalem.
8. a point
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.03.10)
Bechor gives Obama too much credit by portraying him as an eager and inexperienced politician who made a mistake. Obama is smart. He has a basic antipathy to Jews, absorbed from his spiritual mentor Wright and his extreme Left friends. He has a deep love of the Arabs that he showed when he bowed in submission to the King of Saudi Arabia, a first for an American president. He hears from his Arab friends that the biggest problem in the world is 6 million Jews of Israel and that fruitless negotiations that have been going on for years. What quicker way to solve these problems than by eliminating the Jews altogether?
9. Obama
Madeleine ,   Israel   (04.03.10)
Israel has to stand strong and resist all pressure from OHB. We cannot let this monkey dictate what we should do in our sovereign country. America has never had to defend its shores, its homeland, its civilian population. They fight their wars thousands of miles from home; in fact they are not even America's wars, just misguided attempts to protect oil prices. The sooner this dangerous freak is ousted from the White House, the better for Us and for America.
10. The Root of the conflict in the Mideast & world ??
Roy C. Hudson ,   USA   (04.03.10)
The Root of the conflict is, What shall we do with Jacobs Kids. They have the only deed & Title to the Land of Israel. It is their Home Land. They are all coming Hone now, They have the right to build Homes for the Kids, or any one that wanst to buy & live in Peace as any other Nation. While being under attack every day since May 14/1948 they have done great things to help & heal in many ways. It is impossible to honor the Arab desire, to destroy the Children of Jacob. This is their time to survive through it all. Sorry for the children that has to move out to the land of their Fathers, They could have learned from Jacobs Kids, if they only had a chance to know the Root of the conflict. Aratat Abbas,Hamas, Saudi Arabis Obama, etc has no say in the out come of this conflict, they all have to go now. Roy C H USA
11. obama HUSSEIN = RADICAL!
(04.03.10)
12. US will pay heavy price
tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (04.03.10)
Guy Bechor writes: " Without noticing it..." Guy, you think Obama is blind or that stupid? Looks like cheap provocation. It is clear this errogant "peacemaker" wants to drag Israel to war
13. Re: False Analyis - totally wrong
seisen ,   NYC   (04.03.10)
What are you talking about "only last year did the OM agree to creation of Pal State" -- do you not remember Barak and Clinton's many offers to Arafat that even Prince Bandar told Arafat was a crime not to take? What about Olmert's offer to Abbas last year, even more than Barak offered? Very well publicized but you choose to ignore. It's actually the opposite: The Pals and the Arabs have NEVER clearly stated that they accept PERMANENT JEWISH sovereignty in the Middle East.
14. yet another sour grapes article....
arik ,   usa   (04.03.10)
...I realize it's hard to accept that the Israel lobby now only sets US congressional Middle East policy and not the president's policy. After all, isn't America here to serve Israel?
15. Obama losing supporters b/c of Israel stance
Sue ,   Los Angeles   (04.03.10)
Obama is being slammed from both the left and the right for his hostile actions towards Israel. Jewish and non-Jewish leaders are coming out each day with statements of support for Israel and criticism for the President. The question is: will Obama listen to the critics and back off Israel, or will he ignore them and remain true to his anti-Israel ideology developed during his 20-year friendship with Reverend Wright?
16. Hello? #7 Ali, Washington DC
Dallas ,   Canada   (04.03.10)
Why not just admit that if ever there was a Palestinian state in East Jerusalem, that it's just a matter of time that they would want it all. Also, read history and what J'lem was like during the Jordanian occupation. It was a disaster.
17. #7
Jane   (04.03.10)
Ali, you will always find one excuse or another to verbalize as being the reason that you don't make peace. I would greatly appreciate some honesty, to wit, that you will not allow us to live in our homeland no matter what we do. You are greedy, selfish, truth-twisting, violent Jew-haters who deny us our patrimony which is centered in Jerusalem. You have Mecca and Medina. For G-d's sake, our holiest site is in "East" Jerusalem and you built a mosque on top of it. The Waqf then digs away and obliterates as much of Jewish antiquity as possible to try to erase our history. Ali, get real.
18. #14 of course not
Center-right ,   Germany   (04.03.10)
America is to serve the world rulers i.e. oil reach countries.
19. What exactly has Barakeh done to bring peace.
Alan ,   SA   (04.03.10)
The article says it all . If Israel doesnt accept a Pal State that doesnt accept that Israel is primarily a Jewish State will the US Marines invade Israel?. Will US bomb TA like it did to Belgrade? Where exactly is Barakeh going with his "tough" stance . I believe that he would be content with ONE term as long as he could destroy Israel in the next 2.5 years. He is the enemy of enemies to Jews and to Israel. I posted many times on Y NET on what he would try on Israel before the US election in 2008-but I never came close to the reality I see now
20. Mr Obama doomed to failure!
Jaacov Baumann   (04.03.10)
The nation of the USA too, if they let this man continue to lead the USA on the anti - Israel path ! Many millions in the USA know exactly, that cursing the jews brings curse ! So get up and DO SOMETHING !
21. American Jews better wake up
Phil ,   USA   (04.04.10)
The democratic party takes the vote of American Jews for granted. They know that no matter how injurious the party's positions and actions are to Jews and to Israel, a majority of American Jews will vote for their candidate and donate much cash to their campaigns. This is nothing new. American Jews worshipped FDR even after he denied entry to the US of Jewish refugees who were fleeing the nazis. Times change and institutions change. What was true may no longer be true. Brainwashed people refuse to acknowledge that sometimes change is to a person's advantage. Obviously, American Jews have not learned this and Jewish leaders, such as Schumer and the other cowardly Jewish senators and representatives are too concerned with their place in the party and won't do the right thing.
22. #3 Pals want a 2 State solution or a 1 State Soution
Alan ,   SA   (04.04.10)
but both solutions must have the same ending- Arab Muslims in control of both outcome states I dont think us Jews will be taken for such a ride by anyone .
23. # 7
Birdi ,   Israel   (04.04.10)
Jerusalem wll never be divided again.....we are used to not having peace. We can live with that but you cant.
24. #3 Thank you for the comic relief
Haifa Granny   (04.04.10)
It has been a while since I've read anything so funny. Stupid, but still very very funny. "The foreign minister's supporters?" Wonderful! Logic like that will get you right through the looking glass.
25. #7
Haifa Granny   (04.04.10)
Let's indulge in a little "what if." What if there were a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. Then what? Would Hamas change its charter and stop brainwashing kindergarten children into wanting to blow themselves up in suicide bombing attacks? I doubt it. Would the "Palestinians" accept Israel as a Jewish state? Uh-uh. Would the Arabs institute diplomatic relations with Israel? When pigs fly. Would it be the Mandelbaum Gate all over again with Judaism's holy sites on the wrong side? You bet your socks it would! So how exactly would a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital bring peace in our time?
26. It is all part of the plan!
Ben ,   USA   (04.04.10)
BHO is not stupid! He is clever like a fox. I don't know how he feels about Jews or Israel, but that is not his agenda. He is all about turning the Good Ol USA into a socialist/marxist oasis and driving a world crisis is to his advantage. ("Never waste a crisis") By isolating Israel, he is making Bibi take note that when it comes to Iran, Israel is on its own. Israel has no choice but to act. An Israeli attack on Iran will cause a world econmomic and energy crisis, the basis of any marixist strategy! The ensuing crisis will mean voters in the US will be fearful of regime change in 2012, BHO gets to stay in office. The ensuing energy crisis gives him the reason to nationalize the US energy sector, Oil, Electric, coal etc... Having Nationalized Health Care and Energy, the rest is just a cakewalk. All the left for him now is to do something about that pesky free press. Don't ask me what the right answer is... I don't see one. If Israel defends itself, the US goes socialist, if Israel does not defend itself, Israel dies. If Bibi does what he needs to, a lot of American Jews should think about going home to Israel.
27. to ben usa

tanya ,   tel aviv israel   (04.04.10)
29. socialism?
sohnes ,   Schlat, Germany   (04.04.10)
@Ben, USA. I agree, that BO is not stupid man. I disagree with the "socialist oasis", you are one scared man. It's only about 30+ mio ppl without health insurance ("there ain't no help here"). Not about nationalizing the oil industry or something like that...and i guess you know that, too. Imo, that needed 2b done. But now he could see, if his foreign policies (Mideast) need an update, which i think is the case. Rly seems like being radical pays out those days and he cannot want that, can he? peace
