1. Peres silient when olmert and shas agreed to move it
jason ,   haifa israel   (04.04.10)
Peres didn't call it a scandal then.
2. Olmert didn't fortify the hospital this govt will
jason ,   haifa israel   (04.04.10)
Olmert gave the hospital no protection and dithered and dithered to the next govt. Kadima and shas agreed to move the ER room and livni said nothing then now kadima and peres show their hypocrisy.
3. ER isn't going to be moved stop playing politics Peres
jason ,   haifa israel   (04.04.10)
No one elected Peres and he keeps stepping into politics. He said nothing when shas and olmert agreed to move the ER room and the groundwork was already laid. He didn't make a fuss then. Olmert did nothing to protecxt the hospital against the rocket attacks at least this govt is moving to protect it. The ER room isn't going to be moved as the committee recommended to stop it yet Peres is still playing politics.
4. Tumah avoided if ..."A & E" is Below Graves ?
Roland Seener ,   London England   (04.04.10)
5. tried 2 visit Sanhedrin Graves here in Jerusalem....
(04.04.10)
and found a garbage dump!!!! The entire area of the graves is filled with Religious Newspapers and magazines, broken bottles, dirty diapers, old and broken down washing machines, baby strollers etc etc. These are the graves of our Sanhedrin and they a garbage dump! So how is it that for Canaanite graves we need to spend an additional USD 24.3 million?!?!
6. The children who don't have anything to
Vardina   (04.04.10)
eat are partly those of the Haredim and mainly those of Arab families who insist on bringing t10 children to the world without securing the means to feed them. Naturally they expect the Israeli government to feed them at the expense of Jewish Israeli tax payers. This has to stop. Arabs have to change their multiplying habits or go elsewhere.
7. Jason go drink some kosher l'Pesach water & calm down!
(04.04.10)
you are way out of line!
8. Don't forget Bibi
Max ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.04.10)
Good grief. These talkbacks attacking Olmert over his sordid contribution to this issue and nary a word about Bibi. I guess these folks are die-in-the-wool Likudniks. Bibi 's conduct was abysmal and showed him up for what he really is - a small time politician and not anywhere like the statesman his supporters deem him to be.
9. why the ER
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.04.10)
The whole problem is because they want to build a fortified ER. They want to build a fortified ER because ever since Gush Katif was ethnically cleansed of Jews (with Peres' fervent support), Arabs are shooting Kassam rockets at the hospital. Peres even mocked people who warned of the rockets, calling them "Kassam Shmassam"
10. " SCANDAL" !!!!!!!
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (04.04.10)
What is a scandal is that people like Simon Peres, who represents our fine state, allows its citizens to be under fire year after year, doing little about it. Meanhile our El Presidente and his buddies play their political games, using our army towards the wrong tasks and never ever using it for what it was meant to do in the first place. But as usual the focus is away from the real problem, because why the heck would we need a fortified hosipital, if we did what any self respecting country would do with its enemies in the first place. In the near future our Utopian state will have us all live underground, that way they can create a 2 state solution no matter how.
11. Yet more proof:
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (04.04.10)
Religion is the enemy of progress. The Judaist fanatics are worried about a few bones underground and demand that a HOSPITAL (of all things, no less!) cease operation. Shameless. Their blind zealotry is going to cause far more problems for us in the future than Arabs ever did in the past. Religion that is not carefully contained to the private sphere spells trouble, with a capital T!
