sohnes ,   schlat, germany   (04.05.10)
Those who wage war - and lose it - have to live with the consequences of their own stupidity. Ask Germans, my friend. You'd make them laugh, telling them they have the right to go back to - say poland. LOL
32. #12 Nour - you naughty boy. Your fore-fathers in S Arabia
Topsy Turvy ,   USA   (04.04.10)
are waiting on you to return home. You should not stay away. They are grieving for you.
33. #4 Salma my dear, it is not clear. Throwing words
Topsy Turvy ,   USA   (04.05.10)
across the fence is not negotiations. You see anyone sitting down to negotiate? And recognize you? Everyone knows you are Jordanians making believe that you are a Pals people. But we humor you because "West Bank Jordanians" is just too long as a term of reference.
34. Until
Ahmed-Christian now ,   Chicago   (04.05.10)
Arabs disband the weathy kings in Saudi Abaria, there will no be peace. That what all Arab Muslims say. They hate king, and they want to go to Arabia where they came from. They did not come from Kairo or New York, or Moscow. So, will have to weit another 30-80 years. This ugly king do NOT alow them in.
35. To #29, Fed up
Howard ,   US   (04.05.10)
So #29, just want to make sure this inadmissibility of acquiring territory by war applies to everyone and not just Israel. Because if that's the case, the US will be giving up a huge amount of land back to Mexico and the borders of almost every country in the world will be entirely rearranged and in many cases entire countries will disappear. Just because you brand Israel a pariah state doesn't make it so. In fact, in response to your ignorant posting here I'm going to order a case of Israeli wine right now!
36. Yet another smart rider Mr.Giora Eiland
Sami ,   Lebanon   (04.05.10)
“The distance from these conclusions to a situation whereby the US dictates a plan, including a binding timetable, is short.” This is the truest close in this article. The world already feed up with Israeli game and the end less maneuver and deception where each PM come with a fog peace plan in the purpose to extend the settlement and land stealing time knowingly the next PM refuses to recognize it. Recognize Oslo ,don’t recognize Oslo ,recognizes Road Map ,don’t recognizes Road Map ,recognizes Sharam al sheik Agreement don’t recognize Sharam Alsheik agreement and so on. Leave all options and final status agreement for negations that end up with another negotiation which will be the start for another negotiation that will be followed by new fresh start negotiation…………. 18 years of endless circle around negotiation with ZERO outcomes and yet the author needs 3 month to formulate his new deceiving plan for the next ride.
37. dear FedUp
Dana Rothschild ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.05.10)
you are absolutely right with your: "The inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war has always meant exactly that. You have used up your time..." for the beginning start with giving back to the Indians the land you acquisit by war..... then get out from Iraq and Afghanistan.... "No one in Israel is interested in hearing an USA counter proposal at this late date. A just settlement on the refugees requires return of Indians that have actually been displaced and put into reservates by force." Herzl actually didn't take the "palestinians" into account..... palestinians? who??????

Birdi ,   Israel   (04.05.10)
Now you are talking sense Hameed !! BRAVO.
39. Actually, Fed Up, you need to educate yourself
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (04.05.10)
regarding the history of Israel. Boycotts and divestments, no, we weren't a fullfledged nation then so your reference to Hertzl in those two regards is not applicable. As to sanctions, the history of Israel is replete with sanctions, especially from the UK, and Hertzl as well as David Ben-Gurion and other Israeli pioneer leaders all had to deal with them both internally and on an international scale. They were dreadful times given that the sanctions were often put in place in the middle of fighting with the Arab opposition or while attempting to add to our inadequate arsenal of weapons. We found a way to survive, however, against what appeared to be insurmountable odds. We are Israelis and we know what we are capable of as we have been tested as no other nation has. For your own education, as noted above, I would suggest you read the first thirteen chapters of Howard Sachar's "A History of Israel from the Rise of Zionism to our Time". That would take you through our War of Independence. That would be the first 350 pages of his enormous study consisting of 1,100 pages plus a bibliography of over 3,000 books, documents and articles including Arabic sources. I am aware of how (sometimes intolerably) ignorant are many of the Talkbackers who post on this and on other similar boards and believe each poster should be encouraged to educate him/herself.
40. TO #22 Dear Yossef
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.05.10)
You ask me who I am and what I want? Simply my name is Salma am a Palestinian mother and father, either what I want? Nothing we're just debating .... I answered your questions because I see in you a good Jew, so I wish you a good day
41. Clintons Plan is Back
Shaun Sheridan ,   Australia   (04.05.10)
There is no plan for a Palestinian state on the table either Clintons or anyone elses. Netanyahu deliberately formed a government that was by its very composition opposed to a Palestinian state. What has changed is that Obama knows this an does not care. The problem is Netanyahu's. He either puts a solution ahead of his desire to stay in power or faces the consequences. Ayoob Kara's racist slurs regarding Obama's middle name which passed without condemnation by Netanyahu shows that Netanyahu is not interested in dealing with President Obama. He will stall for time or failing that create a crisis with the Palestinians so that he can go to his fall back position that all Palestinaians are terrorist so negociation is impossble.
42. To Dear Salma :-)
Yossef ,   Rehovot, Israel   (04.05.10)
Thanks Salma. I See a lot of pain in your posts. I would like we find a way for us jews and you palestinians to live not just in peace but respecting each other. I am afraid that on both sides not everybody think alike. There is still a long way to get there. I'd like to invite you for the "Mimouna", end of Pessah, but I don't think it's still possible, may be another time :-) Have a nice day too.
43. #12 Nour. Agreed. So start packing your bags to leave.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.05.10)
#12 Nour. You say you need to go home. I couldn't agree more. Israel is not your home and never will be. You say 60 years of posing is nothing. So keep posing for 600 years for all the difference it makes. Start packing your bags, Nour, because you will be leaving Israel sooner than you think. The Arab and Moslem world beckons you.
44. Obama
Nicholas ,   Lagos, Nigeria   (04.06.10)
Israelis talk like they are at war with America. If you feel you can do it alone, then go ahead. Obama wants peace but sure knows it comes with a high price and he is asking Israel to be ready to pay that price same with the Palestinian people. Its time Israel move past this frequent anti-Obama rhetoric.
45. Obama to Nicholas Nigeria
TAHRIR QUDS ALYAHUDI   (05.06.10)
We already paid the price by giving the Palis Gaza. What Israel received back **KASSAM AND TERROR** We should not give one stone and no peace talk until the whole Arab world recognise ISRAEL IS JEWISH STATE AND JERUSALEM IS THE CAPITAL OF THE JEWISH STATE.
