Surely any reasonable and informed person must accept that the fact that Israel exists - without declaring its borders - on stolen Palestinian land which is and has always been an illegal and provocative act of 'confrontation'. When we look at the historical facts how can it be said that Israel has not been "looking for a confrontation". It has been doing so with all its Arab neighbours since its inception when it Israel unilaterally declared itself to be in existence in defiance of the will of the organised international community, including the Truman administration. You appear to be suffering under a common misapprehension due to exposure to deliberately inaccurate propaganda. Ahmadinijad never called for any land to be wiped off the map. And if you look at maps of territory from 1948 till today you will see that the opposite is true. Israel has stolen land from the Plaestinians and it is Plaestine that is being wiped off the map by stealth. Sderot's children have a right to a life as does anyone else. Sure. But WHY do you think rockets are being fired? There is no justification for them, of course, But we need to be honest about WHY they are being fired if we want to solve this situation. And that I see is the problem: there is no honesty. Y'see no-one has a legal a right to a life on stolen land. Do you agree? E.g. Sderot is stolen Palestinian land. Solve that problem and the rockets would stop. Its really that simple.

Israel must end the sales of its advanced weapon systems because Turkey has got very cosy with Iran & Syria these days and has no love for Israel. How do we know the designs of these weapons will not be given to Iran or possibly Syria who are experts at reverse engineering. These weapons may then be used against Israel in war or passed onto groups like HIzbollah. Muslim states cannot be trusted especially ones so friendly with our enemies.
