1. I am left wondering: how stupid do all these men think I am?
the other right! ,   Jerusalem   (04.06.10)
I can only ask about myself but me thinks that clearly there were others who didn't buy into the "utopian" perspective offered by these gentlemen. By the way if it looks provocative and reads provocative then it probably is provocative and so the Egged Bus Company and Cnaan advertising manged to easily get Egg all over their faces!
2. Instead the Ad for the Vatican to be a Kabbalah Center?
Anon   (04.06.10)
Kidding,
3. Ban religious nonsense from buses
Avi ,   Israel   (04.06.10)
public transport is not the place for religious garbage and should not be allowed.
4. But in the end Al-Aqsa will be removed !
J.B. Doom ,   Beautiful Gate   (04.06.10)
5. Useless provocation
Yossef ,   Rehovot, Israel   (04.06.10)
I dream that the temple would have been pass the centuries and still exists, as the memories of our ancestors. But it didn't, what we shall do with another temple ? Sacrifices ? Who will be the great priest ? Who will choose him ? And what is good that for ? If the mosque disappears on day let us construct a temple for friendship and modernity between the people of the middle east. It will be more useful, and safe :-)
6. to #3 but it's ok to be upset when they
ghostq   (04.06.10)
make seculars change their adds, you r just as worse as they r since you don't like their advertising you want to change it, regardless of the content. after all none force you to look or to read those advertising.
7. Build on!
Vincent ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.06.10)
120 Times in the Bible, the land belongs to the Jewish people as an everlasting covenant and FOREVER. Bible prophesy dictates that a 3rd temple WILL be built, but in that same temple the anti-Christ will sit exalting himself and putting an end to Jewish sacrifices. Build it anyway! Prophecy cannot be stopped, and the secular drones will not stop it either.
8. The Censor Is Back...
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.06.10)
...But this time it is the violent extremists who control what can be printed in the Israeli pseudo-democracy. What's next, will they censor our prayerbooks and hagadahs? If we let this happen we are just one short step away from becoming just another Asian demockracy like Afghanistan.
9. You can remove the Temple from the busses
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim,   (04.06.10)
B"H You can remove the Temple from the busses, but you can not remove it from our prayers and from our hearts. The Third Jewish Temple on The Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be built, in our time, please G-d. The Arabs are there in its place only temporarily, they belong to Mecca, in Arabia and they know it. G-d will make arrangements in a way that they will go back to where they came from at the first place, to Arabia. They have no business in being in Eretz Israel. This Arab citizens and Arab members of knesset in Israel nonsense has only to do with the secular law, it has no basis whatsoever in Judaism. Especially that they are waging a war on us.
10. Inappropriate adverts
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.06.10)
Sorry that the reason is surrendering to threats but glad that they have finally been removed.
11. Enough room
Yizrael ,   Israel   (04.06.10)
There's enough room on the Temple Mount for both the Al-Aqsa, and the third temple. Just do your homework and figure it out. The third temple will be built, because the offerings MUST resume (Daniel 9), and that cannot happen without a temple and the according ordinances. So take a deep breath, and start figuring out the arcitecture people!!
12. Leftists: Free speech for everyone...that agrees with us!
William ,   Israel   (04.06.10)
Just another incident of peace-supporters using "democracy" to steal the rights from others. Leftism is a thugocracy under the guise of equal rights.
13. #11 - Not a matter of space, but of location
William ,   Israel   (04.06.10)
The Temple Mount must be placed over the Holy of Holies, which also happens to be the Rock on which Abraham was to sacrifice his son. There is the Dome of the Rock there now. It must be removed. The small Al-Aqsa mosque at the other end is fine. It won't interfere. But this isn't really about location or space, is it? It's about Jews wanting to return to the days of spiritual closeness to G-d and his laws, and Muslims wanting to have absolute control and supremacy of that location. If Islam gives up on taking Judaism's holiest spot and turning it Muslim, then in what sense are they "superior" to other religions? Their whole reason for existence and MO in this world becomes defunct. Ergo, no real peace.
14. utter rubbish!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (04.06.10)
the ad, as pictured DOES NOT call for anything of the sort! all it says is "may the temple be rebuilt speedily in our days", which is just part of our normal jewish prayers, and has been for centuries. there is no reference WHATSOEVER to any mosque or to any replacing. moslems may find the fact of a jewish temple existing in the capital of the jewish people disturbing, but their threats of violence shouldn't be allowed to deny history. and how dare the leftists and the arabs dictate jewish prayers and greetings!?
15. Free Speech
Rich ,   USA   (04.07.10)
I believe and pray also for the Third temple to be rebuilt, but Still I do not understand the fear of posting something that states such on a bus. GOD will prevail regardless of our beliefs in any such matters!
16. #5 & 11
Steve in USA ,   USA   (04.07.10)
11: Ezekiel 43:12: "This is the law of the temple: All the surrounding area on top of the mountain will be most holy. Such is the law of the temple. The Al Aqsa Mosque is an obmination to the L-d. 5: A Temple built for secular humanism? Why not not a golden calf then? Do you think that showing weakness and giving into those that hate you make you safe? The truth is that the Temple will be rebuilt and the sacrifices will return and you will know soon who your High Priest is. Jewish secularists are as dangerous from within than any threat from without. If both were allowed to have their way, Israel would soon cease to exist. Thankfufully G-d is in control.
17. You can take it off the busses...but
Tyra ,   Lebanon, USSA   (04.07.10)
You can NOT take it out of the Bible. King David's Temple will be rebuilt.
18. Provocative?
Matt ,   USA   (08.25.10)
I bet these same people that are offended with the bus ads are the same people who thinks it's ok to build a mosque at ground zero in NYC. I am a die-hard supporter of Israel and the rebuilding of the Temple but it seems like this Jewish nation is all about giving in to every islamic cry. A mosque on the Temple Mount (and Jews not allowed on the site either), participating in talks with Palestinians to hand over YOUR land, giving up Gaza the way you did (even though that is prophetic) and allowing Iran to fuel up that nuclear reactor? I'm sorry Israel, but you look completely weak to the world these days. It's no wonder the surrounding countries don't show you any respect. Whatever happened to the Israel of 1967?
