You have got to be kidding little Hungarian dwarf, did you bring your little white surrender flag?
2. SACRE BLEU
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (04.13.10)
Chacun a son gout (each to his own) , Jews are expected to go to their deaths quietly ,without fuss .Strike at Iran before they do it to us ...MON DIEU.
3. Sarkozy are you worried about Iran or Zoinist entity ???
Sayed Sajjad ALi ,   Karachi Pakistan   (04.13.10)
4. Too bad Medvedev the pusher is involved
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (04.13.10)
Russia wants to push nuke technology on Iran and get cash in return. The amusing part of the farce is that neither side would trade in rubles or rials - both are worthless on the world market. Instead, the deals are in Euros or dollars - currencies that actually have some value. Makes you wonder why anybody with 1/2 a brain would support the Iranian quest for atomic bombs. It's just the Russian nuke pushers trying to get the Iranians to be nuke junkies. Sadly, the two are in bed with each other and the world is impotent. Nuclear disaster awaits us unless Iran is stopped.
5. But you (the West) ARE less couragous than the Iranian peopl
shneer ,   USA   (04.13.10)
The West is toothless, utterly weak in the face of genocidal tyrants. They only find their voice and unity when it comes to denigrating, punishing and humiliating the Jewish state. This is only the beginning.....
6. I don't get it; Do they wan't to help Israel or do...
ARIEL   (04.13.10)
Sarkowzy and Obama re willing to support Israel on their strike on Iran's Nuclear facilities or are they willing to appear neutral and in the Arbitrator Role; Take clear sides and do not adopt steps based in fears from possible retaliations by Extremist in Paris or New York; If you support Israel do not condition this on any talks or negotiations with the Palestinians who are unwilling to seat on the negotiation table for the last two years.
7. yes time for action on part of international community!
galut ,   selah   (04.13.10)
no more words.....
8. Yes of course, DISASTROUS to iran's nuke factories.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (04.13.10)
9. Sarkozy & Iran
Bruria   (04.13.10)
Iran has already said sanctions won't work--they are determined to destroy Israel. As for peace--how about telling our arab neighbors to start by amending their constitutions to remove the clause calling for the destruction of Israel. How on earth do they expect us to make peace with people who have sworn to destroy us!
10. What about "Israel's" nuclear weapons Mr.Sarkozy ?!
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.13.10)
Courage of the Iranians, just like your courage with women Mr. Sarkozy. :) yea all of this to keep "Israel" as the number one military power in the region...At least Iran has repeatedly denied that it has such a program...But everyone knows especially France, that "Israel is a genuine nuclear"...But Mr Sarkozy reassure you Iran does not have the courage to attack "Israel", there is much that Iran has more to worry about from "Israel", and the US...I'm afraid you believe clown Ahmadinejad...I hope if you are calling the international community to be more determined in the most important issues
11. Israel should worry about justice in Palestine first
Jack. A   (04.13.10)
Not Iran or any one else in the area would attack Israel.
12. Illustration of Hypocrisy
Jack. A   (04.13.10)
Sanctions on Iran to supposedly having the intention of developing nuclear weaponry but does nothing about Israel's - already armed with nuclear WMD? compliance with IAEA & NPT should be OBLIGATORY not a game .
13. did someone forgot to tell him the Franch mandat is over
ghostq   (04.13.10)
hahaha I guess they still belive it's theirs, anyway Franch people got short... temper and it doesn't take much to make them pop a vain in the forhead, but the also cool very quickly so this is old new.
14. Sarkozy doesn't what he is talking about
Yoram ,   Russia   (04.13.10)
Sarkozy's comments saying..."I do not want the world to wake up to a conflict between Israel and Iran..." shows how little he knows about world politics. Do you think for one minute Israeli military men and politicians have not calculated the consequences of going to war with a big and powerful country like Iran? Iran is NOT Lebanon or Syria. Israel knows that if it striked Iran, then it would go into a war with Iran which can turn nasty for both sides and many thousands of people would die on both sides. Israel safegaurds each and every Jewish citizen no matter where they maybe and will not tolerate its destruction or any of its citizens. Likewise Iran has been in an eight year war with Iran and the last thing it wants is a war with another country. This is why Iran has promised that it will NEVER attack Israel, providing Israel does not attack Iran and leaves it alone. Last year in the Gazza war radical Basij Iranians wanted to go to war with Israel and help their Palestinian brothers. But the Iranian leader prevented anyone of them leaving the country and strongly condemened such move. Why? Because Iran does not want another war and becasue it knows it should NOT interfere in Israel's internal and external affairs. Yes both Israel and Iran may hate each other on the surface, but deep below and behind the curtains, there is a good understanding between the two countries, like two brother that hate one another, but when it comes to fight the bad neighbour next door both are untited. Mr Sarkozy really has no clue about Middle East politics. If he had some common sense he would get his country back into shape, there would be less stikes in France, more democracy would be given to the French people to say what they want, and there would be less state press control and more freedom for the French who regard themselves as socialist. My advice to Mr. Sarkozy would be to read more about Middle East politics, understand what is really happening in the Middle East today, interfere less in the region and sort out your own problems at home before looking over the fence in the Middle East. Regards, Yoram
15. iran's response would be lethal to israel
Ron   (04.13.10)
israel is heading towards suicide .........onother MASADA is around the corner and majority of israelis are not aware of this . israelis are being decieved and cheated by leaders and military hawks who think that power only can save israel .israel would have to face and fight tough enemies determined to win and humiliate israel .usa and europe would like to see israel involved in wars and conflicts .....western nations are fed-up of israel and they are about to sell-out the jewish state .
16. Sarkozy is correct
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.13.10)
It is impossible that an Israeli attack will succeed in entirely ending the Iranian project, but an attack will lead to an attack on Israel from Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. Iran will close the Persian Gulf and the ensuing economic crisis will be blamed on Israel. Instead Israel should stop worrying about the Iranian bomb. As long as Israel holds the hills of Judea and Samaria, Israel can easily survive an Iranian attack. A nuclear armed Iran will take over the Shiite parts of Iraq and control its oil. Arab states like Libya will join the new Iranian empire. The American puppets like Saudi Arabia and Egypt will be destabilized. The US will have no choice but to stop its efforts to destroy Israel.
17. Preempting preemption
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.13.10)
Hussein Obamas nuke conference is concerned about the preemption of an Israeli preemtive strike against Iran - NOT about the Iranian lunatics going nuclear... can everybody hear and see the inglorious bastards of our time... REALLY ???!!!
18. Israeli attack : Done deal.
Joey Rose ,   Portland   (04.13.10)

20. @ # 2 How Many Hundred Thousand? LAWRENCE ?
Ian   (04.13.10)
You seem so convinced that war will be needed. How many hundred thousand boots do you think Israel is willing to put on the ground in Iran to search out and examine all the hidden sites? Or is it your preference to just nuke them til they glow? What`s the Israeli or your plan to accomplish what you think should be done?
21. A military strike will never work
(04.13.10)
Iran has more nuclear sites than they have declared, some bulit deep underground. It is a huge and very mountainous country. If Israel attacks, there could be a retaliation
22. Disastrous?
Hassan Nasrallah ,   South Lebanon   (04.13.10)
Maybe,he means disastrous for Israel.
23. #12 a clarification
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.13.10)
The IAEA and NPT are voluntary treaties. A country can choose to join the treaties, give up nuclear weapons and receive technical assistance in nuclear technology. Or a country can develop the weapons but receives no technical aid. The real problem is that countries like Iran and Iraq, sign the treaties, receive the assistance and then develop nukes. Considering Jews developed Israeli (and American) nukes without receiving the assistance, your opinion is a bit peculiar.
24. #14 Fully agree with every word..Yet the...
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (04.13.10)
Delusional talk backers here have something completely different in mind. Thinking that iran is going to be a joy ride and the same results of their wars with the arabs is going to repeat itself(iranians are not arabs btw). The question is though: Are the talk backers here fully aware what war with iran would mean?will they have the same say when every inch and corner of israel is targeted by not only iran, but even its allies in the region? Not to mention attacks on jews living outside of israel(such as the argentina case). These people not only make fun of every world leader who is trying to help them by preventing them from doing something dangerous, but you can actually see them claiming that they have better military and political knowledge than those leaders( People like SarahB). The problem with people here is that they pretty over estimate them selves and at the same time under estimate their foes. Yet when you cant convince people of this type,I say let them have it their way and strike and see for themselves the result of their stupidity. PS: Just a little reminder: The iranians brought up nearly their entire uranium stockpile onto surface around 2 months ago. Most experts believed that by doing so,they were actually begging for a strike. The israeli leadership not only did not order an attack, but as we saw, they did nothing. So much for the iranians being cowards,as the israeli talk backers here claim.
25. # 23 Re: clarification
Jack. A   (04.13.10)
Are you suggesting that Israel's Neighbours to void NPT & IAEA voluntary treaties so they can develop the weapons (of their choice) but receives no technical aid? I would hope that you would reply?
26. International Community???
Dan ,   Titusville, FL   (04.13.10)
The international community acting in concert has as much credibility and influence as "World Opinion".
27. #25
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.13.10)
What I hope or don't hope is irrelevant. Countries will decide themselves whether or not to be part of the treaties with the advantages and disadvantages. Countries like Saudi Arabia or Egypt has no reason to withdraw from the NPT. No one is threatening their existence or population and they are protected by the Americans. Countries like Israel and India can't be part of the treaties. They are under constant threat of attack and no one will help them.
28. Actions, not words- MrSarkozy- are needed !
Jaacov Baumann   (04.13.10)
MrSarkozy is right - of course ! But what we need desperately are actions, not empty words !

Are you suggesting that Israel's Neighbours to void NPT & IAEA voluntary treaties so they can develop the weapons (of their choice) but receive no technical aid? I would hope that you would reply to {my Question}?
30. The danger is
John the American   (04.13.10)
The possibility of all Arab countries withdrawing from the NNPT unless Israel joins. No one will know what Iran or Syria is doing as there would be no inspections. I think the time is well past for Israel to declare it's nukes and allow inspections. After all Omert already let the cat out of the bag.
