how can someone who claims to speak in the name of God be so corrupt, hope he gets a long jail sentence where he can join his friends from Shas, who like him use religion to cloak their criminal activities.

According to talkbackers #1 and #2, Lupolianski is guilty already now, before his trial. Think of the money Israel could save if we just let journalists & talkbackers decide whether someone is guilty. I'll bet that court cases cost the state millions of shekels.
