Look forward to seeing the outcome of this project.
3. Graffiti isn't art...
JewishDragonfly ,   Torrance, CA, USA   (04.21.10)
You have no freedom of expression when you paint on stuff that belongs to someone else without permission. It is not beautiful; it's theft. I don't care how well it is designed or executed, it is, and should be, criminal.
4. Trees are beautiful. Graffiti is New York. Keep it there!
Peloni ,   Israel   (04.21.10)
Crack down on graffiti and arrest vandals.
5. Is this is a joke??
Frank ,   USA   (04.21.10)
Is this a joke? They describe Sderot as if it is Stalingrad LOL. What a ridiculous attempt at propaganda. I hope when they are painting the lovely, fully in-tact buildings of Sderot full of lush green grass, they take a moment to peak over into the Gaza Strip where the REAL misery of blockades and collective punishment is taking place.
6. i moved away from ny because of the grafitti-
(04.21.10)
now they're bringing it here??!!
7. To #3 and #5
Jeremy ,   Arcata, CA   (04.21.10)
Graffiti is a form of street ART. There are many graffiti artists who respect the laws and only paint in places approved for them. Is a sad looking bomb shelter not an acceptable place to show art? The people of Sderot, especially the children, have significant health effects from the rocket attacks. Many have PTSD, and suffer hearing loss as well as frequent flashbacks.
8. JewishDragonfly @ 3, it would appear there graffity artists
leo ,   usa   (04.21.10)
have local municipal blessing. Can we call it an art form and freedom of expression now?
9. Frank @ 5, I am sorry you are disappointed Sderot is not
leo ,   usa   (04.21.10)
destroyed enough to your liking. I am sure you will try better next time.
10. #5 Don't feel bad, Frank
Cynthia ,   USA   (04.22.10)
Many people like you are poorly informed. They paid no attention to Sderot while the kassams and bombs were bashing Sderot. If you peak into Gaza, you'll see how terrorists destroyed what was once a thriving Jewish community turned terrorist training camp. Hope this video enhances your understanding. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ5CtzTQXPs&feature=player_embedded
11. I hope that
Israeli Jew ,   Israel   (04.22.10)
the graffitti art will be pretty, and Jewish-Israeli oriented and not loud and ugly as it usually is.
12. Don't encourage Graffiti
George Murphy ,   Houston, USA   (04.25.10)
Less well renowned "artists" will soon spring up to compete.
13. To Frank #5
(04.26.10)
And the inhumane treatment of Gilad Shalit and lobbing of rockets into Israel is ok with you? Are you just brainwashed? Those people in Gaza VOTED FOR THE TERRORISTS.
14. FRANK NO. 5
ARIELLA ,   HOLON, ISRAEL   (04.26.10)
Sderot looks the way it does becasue we rebuild everything and do not wallow in misery like Gazza. All the world is sending money to rebuild Gazza, still it is in shambles and keeps shooting rockets at Israel. No common sense.
15. Thank You!

I think that some well thought out graffiti art pieces could add some positive energy to a rough looking area... Good Luck with the Project
