Morally speaking we cannot allow countries who have sworn as official state policy to destroy other countries to aquire nukes. It is unthinkable. Israel has never made any such statements. But just about every other country in the middle east has made such statements regarding Israel. There is no double standard. Those countries who swear to annihilate others should be denied nukes while those who have made no such threats of their own should be permitted to aquire them.
