When you're a child, popularity is very important. From grade school through high school, everyone wants to be loved and to 'fit in'. Adults shouldn't live their lives this way. Sure, it's nice to be popular. However, sometimes you won't be -- especially if you take a stand on issues that are unpopular. Adults learn to stand up for unpopular issues and take the hits that accompany unpopular stands. Adults that live for the acclaim of others are adults that have never grown up. Don't be like children and modify your lives to obtain acclaim from others. Be like adults and be able to take unpopular stands. As a US Citizen, I don't really care who likes the US and who doesn't. I'm fine with being feared and being left alone. I'd like to see the same for Israel. BTW - I love Israel.

The world did not hate us Jews so much and had a lot of sympathy for Jews after about 6 million of us were slaughtered. They eventualy even allowed us to return to our ancient homeland. Perhaps we should return to being stateless and defenseless again to earn their sympathy.

Sorry to have to break the bad news to you, but, regardless of what the rest of the world thinks, in America, Obama's poll numbers are going into the toilet. And this is the only country where it really counts.

The world has always been largely anti-semitic, so who really cares what they think of Israel (which means: Jews)??? The world has sunk to an all time low in intelligence and reason...completely ill to the core. "Open-mindedness" has become akin to being a "pollution catcher" and political correctness could not be further from the natural human disposition, sophistication and basic intelligence. Liberalism has destroyed all reason and the ability to engage in effective and meaningful communication and diplomacy. The 'democratization' of the world has swung so far to the left that it has once again empowered terrorists and murderers while simultaneously creating a full blown cultural holocaust by attempting to 'homogenize' the entire population of the globe. The support for cultural murder out of fear as well as support for terrorists and a departure from reason with no support for those with the wisdom to set the standards for the world has created perhaps our worst situation since world war 2. We are indeed a decaying world; in all senses of the word. Only a miracle could save us now. And at the bottom line: we deserve this. It was only 65 years ago that we saw an end to what we have once again created. What short memories we all have.

Israel has been doing all it can to isolate itself from the world both politically and ethically, so the only surprise is that it even ranked as high as it did. Keep it up and who knows, by next year Israel might lower itself to rock bottom.

As a German, I can give some clues about Germany. 1.) There are some (very few) good people who support Israel. 2.) The vast majority of Germans has a negative attitude towards Israel. 3.) Most Germans are Antisemites. So why do you think, the Muslim countrys are so fond of Germany ??? The Germans love Obama and would not lift the small finger to support Israel... A "people" (quotes intended) who were offered everything they wanted several times but turned it down because they wanted another people to disappear isn't exactly oppressed by anyone else, but their own racist ideology. If you subscribe to the excuse "I can't do anything until everything is perfect" then you and the "Palestinians" will be disappointed for the rest of your lives. However, Israel continues to burn brightly, among Haitians, Arab families who's childrens' lives were saved in Israeli hospitals, and the technology we give to the world daily. Long live Israel!
