1. But, but what will the world say?
Janice Cohen ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.25.10)
Oh who cares anyway.
2. Why must a future Palestinian political entity be "cleansed"
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.25.10)
of Jews yet in Israel 19% of the population is Arab? Therefore, whatever territory comes under the control of the Arab leadership of Samaria and Judea the Jews in there must be permitted to stay put just as Arabs in Israel stay put where they are. This would be the non-racist approach to handling the conflict, yet the "progressive" members of society, in Israel and abroad, demand of Jews, only because they are Jewish, to be expelled from their country and the cradle of Jewish civilization.
3. Oh pretty please slap President Obama again!
Michael Hess ,   Charlotte, NC   (04.25.10)
I have it on good authority that would be about the last time. Smirk while you can. Reality is about to set in.
4. Yariv Oppenheimer
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.25.10)
Currently there are 100s of illegally built houses which the court has ordered must be destroyed, some already 15 years ago. The government ignores the court orders for one reason: the owners are Arabs and in Israel the iron fist of the law is only applied to Jews. If Oppenheimer was not a racist, he would demand that the law be applied to Jews and Arabs alike. But it seems the only thing that interests him is destroying Jewish homes.
5. #3 Hess-Yeah sure, whatever you say.

6. As well they should
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.25.10)
Damn about time. The world does not have a say in what Israel chooses to do with its own territory. Arabs that don't like it, are free to leave. Non-Arabs that don't like it, are free to shut up.
7. If Israelis can flood the West Bank...
David ,   USA   (04.25.10)
If Israelis are allowed to flood the West Bank and build settlements there, then Palestinians from the West Bank must be allowed to pour into Israel and build settlements under the PA;s jurisdiction wherever the choose. Fair is fair, right?
8. # 2 So well said!
Keren ,   IL-BR   (04.25.10)
9. Oppenheimer and the "self-hating Jew"
Steven ,   San Francisco   (04.25.10)
To quote from Wikipedia's article discussing the phenomena of the self-hating Jew: "Kenneth Levin, a Harvard psychiatrist, says that Jewish self-hatred has two causes: Stockholm syndrome, where "population segments under chronic siege commonly embrace the indictments of their besiegers however bigoted and outrageous", as well as "the psychodynamics of abused children, who almost invariably blame themselves for their predicament, ascribe it to their being "bad," and nurture fantasies that by becoming "good" they can mollify their abusers and end their torment."
10. Its like gravity - what goes up must come down

11. Settlements in Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the whole of ...
Ron B. ,   Lod   (04.25.10)
Settlements in Judea, Samaria, Gaza and the whole of Jerusalem are legal. The “Mandate for Palestine” granted Jews the IRREVOCABLE right to settle anywhere in Palestine, the area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, a right unaltered in international law and valid to this day. Settlements in Judea, Samaria (i.e., the West Bank), Gaza and the whole of Jerusalem are legal. The international community and the arabs should respect the original legitimity as described at : http://xrl.us/bjch4
12. G-d gave this land to the JEWS, that says it all.

You don't need psychology to explain him. He is just like Goldstone, he does it for the money.
14. Keren, except Juhudah is openly lying...
Michael Hess ,   Charlotte, NC   (04.26.10)
...for Salem Fayyad has made it quite clear that Israeli colonists who wish to stay in Palestine can do so and be treated every bit as well as Israel treats Arab Israelis. Nothing can be more fair than that. And since it has been written here dozens of times, in articles and in comments, I find it amazing that the two of you sock-puppets would try to run such a false gambit. The issue is sovereignty, Jews are perfectly free to stay in Palestine.
