The GOD of Israel has restored Modern Israel in their Ancient Land of Israel as a Fulfillment of His Covenant of restoring the Children of Israel back into their Ancient Land of Israel. When the World of AntiSemites-the EU and the Obama administration start to tamper with the Land of Israel, mega natural disaster struck Europe when a volcano erupted and spewed the skies of Europe costing them billions of dollars in losses. And there is a man-made mega disaster that struck America in the destruction of America's oil rig in the Gulf and the uncontrolled gushing/spillage of thousands of barrels of oil into the sea daily that threaten the Gulf and America's shorelines. This too is costing billions of dollars in losses to America. It is time for them to wake up from their sleep and know the GOD of Israel.

Furthermore, I've been to Israel 7 times, have lots of Israeli (Israeli Jewish) friends and talk with them a lot, and I speak fluent Hebrew (do you speak Hebrew, Benjamin Shank? Can you read a newspaper in Hebrew? Do you read books in Hebrew? Do you listen to Israeli radio and watch Israeli TV via the Internet? I do all of those things). As for interfering in Israel's affairs, it's funny how this only comes up in the context of more liberal Jews expressing their opinions on what's going on in Israel. Plenty of right-wingers on here are constantly telling Israel what to do from a rightist perspective, and somehow that's okay? But apart from that, as a Jew who's very connected to Israel, I think I'm perfectly within my rights to express my opinion and urge a different course of action. I don't vote in Israel, so Israelis obviously have the last word, but the notion that Jews should blindly accept what the Israeli right says is nuts -- right-wing American Jews never shut up, so why should we?

You can write articles, participate in talk-shows on Israel's radio, post to sites such as Ynet in Hebrew, Maariv, Haaretz, Walla or Nana10. We, Israeli Jews, will count your opinion, where it is of importance. So, why bash Israel in public - in English - de-legitimize it demonize it? To whom do such expressions assist but to your own ego and doing so in a more easy way, in your mother tongue of English. Reality in Israel is such that indeed only about 4% of Israeli Jews have expressed approval in Obama's way of dealing with Israel. What Obama has done goes beyond having different understanding than Israel's present government - which was voted democratically into office!!! Obama has managed to abuse some of Israel's most important symbols of Jewish sovereignty in the Jewish historic homeland. He has abused Israel's laws, government institutions and governing procedures. He has "spit" at Israel's democratically elected officials and by extension he has humiliated the entire Jewish people of which Israel is its nation-state. Perhaps, instead of throwing around hollow terms such as "right wing" etc. you should do some soul searching as to whom you should support: Israel, an eternal people, land and civilization, or instead a temporary president who appears to be naive, inexperience and in my humble opinion an anti-Jewish racist...??

I would note that the fear the Rabbi expressed about the US populace blaming Israel for Iraq & Afghanistan is an empty, unfounded fear. Apart from some of the more extreme circles of the Left crowing that line, I have basically observed no serious attempt, or any sort of trend, to blame Israel as the root cause of thos scenarios. That charge simply carries no weight among the vast majority of Americans. We've been observing the Muslim regions rather too closely the last no. of years to fall into that simplistic trap.
