1. Too late. They already spent months trying to smash it
Zvi   (04.29.10)
The whole Jerusalem furor was manufactured by an inept Obama administration. That furor simply made cooperation against Iran HARDER to achieve. Good job, idiots.
2. Since when the Zionists have been concerned about...
Persian CAT ,   US   (04.29.10)
the "stability" of Iran's Arab neighbors?! Sara Reef should not think Iran's Arab neighbors are as stupid as she is. Iran's Arab neighbors are well aware of who causes instability in the ME and they have been very loud and clear about it. Of course some Zionists like this author are completely tone deaf.
3. The American's are aware of this but....
Smith ,   TA, Israel   (04.29.10)
Arabs won't touch Israeli with a dead Iranians finger until there is an official resolution to the Palestinian problem. Or have you not been paying attention for the last few years?
4.  Persian Gulf !!!! You must educate yourself first
Salma ,   Palestine   (04.29.10)
I suggest to accept "Israel" in the Arab League instead of Palestine, Madam, the Arab-Israeli partnership in existence since before 1948...The only difference that in those years there was a little shy, but today even in Israel's Crazy war on civilians in the Gaza Strip , Arab regime calls "Israel" to peace !! Don't worry about Iran, If the international community respond to Iran's desire to obtain nuclear weapons technology, then it will sell Palestine, and all the Arabs in order to be a force in this region, this is the best to you too, right ?

Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (04.29.10)
The Arabs do not give a damn about the "Palestinians". Or why do you think, all the welfare money for them is coming from Western countries?
6. Right on!
Dan B. ,   TA, Israel   (04.29.10)
This is exactly right: instead of insisting on Israeli concessions before forging Iran coalition it should be the other way around. America needs to first get the ball rolling on Iran and then leverage it as a peace-inducing move.
7. Ideas of fantasyland
Brod ,   USA   (04.29.10)
The ideas on peace in the region seem more for creation of fantasyland. The fact is it does not and cannot work because of Islamist-Jihadism. Read "Why I left Jihad" by Walid Shoebat, "Islam and Terrorism" by Mark A. Gabriel, PhD, "Because They Hate" by Brigitte Gabriel, etc.
8. Obama on Iran's side
David ,   NJ USA   (04.29.10)
American foreign policy must now be viewed through the perspective of Farrakhan and Wright. Get real about whom we deal with in this administration

11. It should be vise-versa. Israel-Iran partnership on Arabs

With all the petrodollars flowing in the Gulf & Iran, it is silly to blame the Jews for the problems in the ME. The problem is greedy, corrupt leaders in ALL of the ME (ISR & IRAN included). Looking for an external blame, it all comes back to the British.
13. Well-intentioned but ultimately futile
Noam ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (04.30.10)
Some tactical achievements can be made between Israel and the fear-Iran Sunni Arab Gulf states. Intelligence sharing about Iranian nuclear programs and Hizbullah cells by way via CIA middle manning, permission for Israel to use Saudi and other GCC state airspace, and other limited security cooperation are certainly feasible. Beyond that, the dramatic and far-reaching normalization measures that Ms. Reef proposes are entirely wishful thinking. The GCC states rejected any limited points of engaging Israel as the US had begged them to, such as permitting El Al jets to use their airspace en route to India and the Far East, after Netanyahu imposed a building freeze on all Jewish communities in the West Bank. The Sunni Arabs are fearful of Iran and will welcome any country's effort to counter Iranian power, but will not thank that country and recognize it as a permanent entity in return.
14. Wishfull thinking
ned ,   london   (04.30.10)
The writer is a different zionist the stuipid type. What worries people in the gulf is not Iran , rather is how justice will be served for the war crimes committed by Isreal. Isreal plan for the arab childrens in the gulf isthe same the done in GAZA they both arabs and moslems so dont expect decency will support your war crimes
15. Let be clear
Selig ,   Bostan   (04.30.10)
ALL Arabs want to come to US or, second choice, to Mecca and live like Saudi kings. The second choice is out of the question. Iran, on the other hand, want to kill Saudi kings. Simple and clear.
