NO ARAB COUNTRY would have done the same. They would not allow israel to join, just like they and their Muslim/European allies do not allow Israel to sit on the Security Council- Israeli is the ONLY country in the UN that can NOT sit on the Security Council. Just like Georgia uses its WTO membership to bloc Russia, so too should Israel its membership to bloc Syria. by the way, Syria is the MOST active member of the Arab boycott and provides weapons to hizbollah, why should Israel support their membership in the WTO, which would increase its ability to pay for more weapons?! this is just insane!!

Money speaks(specially in times of crisis). So yes,to the world( At least this is the case in the EU),the importance of countries like iran,with the vast trade opportunities they provide is far more important than the importance of israel. Who needs Uzi guns or Drones anyway? And if you think the firms that claim they have stopped doing business with countries like iran,are actually standing to their word,you are greatly mistaken. The only difference is that the same business would be done under the table. Lets say via Dubai. In short: Don't fool yourself. PS: If I were you,I would check which big brother of israel(i.e the US) asked israel to change its policy on this particular issue.

Israel does not have a say in the matter whatsoever.. the US withdrew its opposition hence Israel was forced to do the same..otherwise face a heated discussions against 152 approved countries. Israelis think they are such a major power..they had to do it or face standing alone..again!

but you must be selective in your criticism when it comes to Muslims not respecting WTO trading rules. Do not tell irrelevant stories about Israel, address this one where Muslims are not respecting WTO trading rules, and show your integrity/fairness, if you have any
