2. Maybe . . . (version 2.0)
emanon ,   USA   (05.07.10)
Maybe if these irate Iranians treated their women with respect instead of depriving them of their sensuality and raping them, they'd know the peace from making ans sharing love. Then maybe, these taliban wannabes would stop hating the world.
3. More proof you can live in the stone age & make nuke bombs.

6. Yep, pretty soon we will be seeing these youngsters swinging

7. to all who do not know this
(05.07.10)
when innocent girls such as these girls are imprisoned in iran, mostly in evin prison and are condemned to death by hanging, the guards line up the night before the execution and rape all the girls several times so that they would die non virgins. this is a custom that is well known to iranians and that have been to evin and have seen these first hand. therefore, what is the logic to arrest these teenage girls for indecency and lustful behavior, yet, then to rape them. is rape not indecent lustful behavior? is rape not pleasure seeking? i guess pleasure seeking is ok for the murderous prison guards, but pleasure seeking is not ok for the iranian youth. only a primitive society will arrest its teens for going to a musical concert and for dancing or for drinking some alcohol. primitive mullah society still living in the dark ages! hameed aboughaze, iranian
8. Iran and its people deserve the future coming to them
Mike ,   Israel   (05.07.10)
9. There are NO burqas in iran. Its not even our dress code.
Hooman ,   Tehran-Iran   (05.07.10)
The picture is inappropriate. This from someone who opposes the iranian regime and would only like to enlighten the people around the world about the reality of life in iran. Burqas is an arabic dress code.
10. Every country has its laws. You are obliged to respect them.
Arash ,   Tehran-Iran   (05.07.10)
And when we tell the people not to this or that, trust me,its for their own good. The majority of the people of iran pretty much agree with this and those who get caught are people who watch too much SATELLITE programs. If they don't like it,they might as well leave. If they live here, they are forced to do as they are told. Either way, this is their problem and not ours.
11. In other words - "we caught them smiling"
William ,   Israel   (05.07.10)
And Allah don't like no smilin' unless Allah sees some infidel killin' Poor kids... who are being oppressed and having their human rights, dignity, and basically their childhood taken away from them.
12. "a clampdown on Satanists"
William ,   Israel   (05.07.10)
The Mullahs couldn't stand the competition.
13. #4 - funny, the Arabs seem to make everything their bizness
William ,   Israel   (05.07.10)
Actually, this story is our business in that it only underscores the oppression and abuses against Iran's own citizens by those in power who have threatened everyone else in the region. Consider this article a character reference of the Mullahs...and it ain't good.
14. #7 - don't forget the "symbolic marriage"
William ,   Israel   (05.07.10)
just before the rapes, so the morally depraved guards can get the Mullah's blessing...and this young victim will die with a smile on her face knowing she knew what it was like to be married....or so the Mullahs claim.
15. #10 - Goldstone said the same regarding SA Apartheid laws
William ,   Israel   (05.07.10)
Including that the laws were for the good of everyone, including Blacks.
16. #9 - It IS an Arabic dress code, Hooman
William ,   Israel   (05.07.10)
and it's about to become an Iranian one as well. Have you not witnessed the systematic destruction of Persian culture under the yoke of your Arab leaders? In actuality, the burqa is not mandated in any Islamic text. It's a tool of oppression of women, and Egyptian scholars have already said as much, despite the death threats from Muslim Brotherhood and other Salafists.
17. # 10; to Arash
Murat ,   Turkey   (05.07.10)
You want people to understand and tolarate you. But you don't try to understand and tolarate others.

(05.08.10)
An Iranian wouldn't spell "your name" the way you did. I guess you're some Israeli who's trying to get Americans to believe that their country should liberate Iran.. Keep trying.. you're very creative.. almost too creative though.
23. Arash, who died so that you could make yourself...
Persian CAT   (05.08.10)
the spokesman for the Iranian people?! How the hell do you know that the majority of the Iranian people " pretty much agree" with the kind of crap the Khomeinist gang is pushing down their throats?!!! Who authorized the likes of you to tell other Iranians what to do?!!! This idea that people should leave if they don't like the tyranny of the mollahs is exactly what the Shah was telling us. I can promise you your favorite mollah regime will meet the same fate as the Shah did. Your problem is they will leave trash like you behind to answer the people that you think are standing up for their rights because the "watch too much satellite"! Have you thought about that, buddy? If not, now is the time.
24. Arash, that's arash statement! you're all hypocrites
anyway.   (05.08.10)
25. #10 Music Concert
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.08.10)
Islamic Republic threatened by western influence. Music is a form of expression and the regime is afraid music will be used for protest. Any excuse to arrest people. Iran's underground music industry thrives inspite of the repression. A newly released docudrama by Bahman Ghobadi, No One Knows About Persian Cats, highlights this subject. You can view the trailer on youtube. Arash has no idea what the majority of people in Iran believe because they cannot openly express their opinion. Perhaps Arash is entertained by religious Islamic music and dancing men. The youth of Iran are seeking freedom of expression.
26. #25 Miss american wanna be is at it again!!!
Arash ,   Tehran-Iran   (05.08.10)
Now we all know who you are!!! Another ex-pat iranian residing in the states. Given that you know TOO MUCH about iranian society(perhaps even more detailed knowledge than 99% of the talk backers here),I will not be surprised the least to know that you are an ex-pat iranian. At least have some guts and admit it!!!! Your dreams of having this country back to what it was before the 1979 revolution, shall never be fulfilled.
27. #4: Ja Abualli, you oppress your women
(05.08.10)
because you know that at first opportunity they would chose someone better and leave you in the gutter where you belong.
28. #7: Girls raping is a psychopath's pleasure
(05.08.10)
I believe that the present Iranian government , its fanatic religious institutions and its followers entail most of Iran's psychopaths.
29. #17 Man, you have to take your medication!
