Palestinians will make every effort to thwart talks and Obama will blame and try to punish Israel for it. Thats how the whole thing has worked since his regime came to power. Abbas intentionally screws things up and refuses to talk. Obama takes Abbas word for it and condemns Israel and demands concessions from Israel as a precondition for talks.
