1. What else can you expect from Israel's neighbors but lies
EST ,   Miami USA   (05.08.10)
and more lies! And the world, in their anti-Semitic fervor, while trying to be politically correct towards Islam (who doesn't give a crap except to further their world dominance) accepts their word over and over .... while applying double-standards to Israel. They expect Israel to comply with all resolutions, even those that clearly place the only Jewish state of this world at peril at the hands of their Muslim neighbors and yet...the world does nothing but criticize the Jews .... once again! It is really sick!
2. Lebanon too weak to make decisions!

Has there been a statement issued from Gabi himself even a ioda of talk of war NO. The Israeli government cant be goated into conflick by arab lies, however the amassing of rockets and misseles are provocation for immediate u.n. inspections of territories from the Israeli/lebanon border to beruit the problem is all bark and No bite the lebanese government has been unable to gain majority and are now being bullied from the entity within this country until it relinquishes full rights to hizbullah suliman, harri are now puppets of hassan and he is iran's puppet.
6. Painful to listen to politicians giving Hezbollah legitimacy
Joe ,   Canada   (05.08.10)
Suleiman like other Lebanese politicians (Jumblat...) is betraying the independance of the country & giving Hezbollah the unnecessary pretext of remaining the real power on the basis of the so called Israeli threat . The terrorist group has an abondance of fictious reasons to justify its state within the state status & independant army from the time it was "only" concerned with the Shebah farms. It does not need Suleiman's help for its propaganda. These Lebanese leaders will become the evil figures in the history books of Lebanon if it ever recovers its independance
7. Of course they won't. Hez is the Lebanese government
Cynic ,   USA   (05.08.10)
8. Notice the world reaction or lack there of.
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (05.08.10)
To yet another violation of international law - a real law not the ones we are usually accused of. Yet the world does nothing. Whereas when we are accused of a 'violation' which either does not exist or is not an international law the reaction is swift and harsh. We need to tell the world that since they ignore this and many other real international laws and treaties we are not going to be bound by their stupidity and lies.
9. There is no Lebanon government! Lebanon is has occupied by
Iran for 20 years ,   already!   (05.08.10)
Hezbollah doesnt exist either! Nasrallah is an Iranian officer in the iranian army!
10. We should thank the UN
Genuine Tosefta ,   Tveria   (05.08.10)
It is a good thing that we have UNFIL to protect us after we lost the last war with hezbollah.
11. Ameer Makhoul arrested under gag order
Shin Bet   (05.08.10)
Is it true that an Israeli humam rights activist got arrested in last days?
12. Making their gov. stronger is also a problem for Israel
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (05.08.10)
Iran is making Hezbollah stronger but little has been done to make the Lebanon gov. stronger to contain them. The US has sent in some military aim but only older equipment, since newer tech could be a danger for Israel also. Weakening Hezbollah as been the plan for years and has not worked but making the Lebanon Gov. strong enough to fight them is also not an option. The Lebanon Gov. doesn't want to fight another war unless it can win but Israel has blocked the option to build up the Gov. to be able to win, since that would shift the balance of power in the area.
13. What? The agreement is simple Sulieman
William ,   Israel   (05.08.10)
Regarding defense of Lebanon against an Israeli attack: 1) Hizbullah moves ALL weapons over to the LAF immediately and either their terrorists join the LAF OR they disband and go back to farming, sleeping with their goats, or criminal ventures. 2) Hizbullah leadership because PART of the govt, NOT instead of the govt of Lebanon. 3) Don't attack Israel! Seems pretty simple but Lebanon, and other Arabs, can't seem to understand that equation as they never learned Cause & Effect, just as they have problems with Self-Responsibility. Three simple rules to end the conflict and disarm Hizbullah. Should be easy....that is, if Hizbullah really wants peace and prosperity for Lebanon.
14. isreael didnt lose the war,,,
#10 ,   toronto   (05.08.10)

15. WONT DISARM ?
ALSKY ,   TORONTO   (05.08.10)
no problem In the next war with Lebanon- we will all see Lebanon disarmed viva israel
16. Lebanese gov afraid of a Hizballah "Coup".
NOra Tel Aviv   (05.08.10)
Each time the Lebanese gov. says" Beware Israel" , it should be translated as "Beware Hizballah".
17. A disarmmed hizbollah increases chance for peace with Israel
zionist forever   (05.08.10)
When Israel declared independence the Hagganah became the IDF and the other armed groups like Etzel & Lehi Ben Gurion forced took them on and forced them to disband and taking their weapons. Ben Gurion did that within 1 year of independence. Lebanon is 67 years old but its government refuses ti take on a terrorist group whose very existence is increases the threat of a war. If the Lebanese armed forces were the only ones with the weapons and answered only to the government then it may even be possible to make peace with Israel. The Lebanese forces would not go into Israel and kidnap soldiers to provoke Israel into a war. If the government wants stability they will introduce a law saying that only the armed forces will be permitted to have weapons and if they feel the need then ask UN troops to help with the disarmament. An armed Hizbollah would also reduce Syrias influence in Lebanon. Without their armed wing Hizbollahs political wing in the parliament would be much weaker which the new government would like to see. A disarmed Hizbollah is the key to stability in Lebanon and letting them keep the weapons is an invitation to war with Israel.
18. To mike @3 Let Lebanon live with it
JAMES ,   ISRAEL   (05.08.10)
The Lebanese Govt is not only corrupt, but also prefers to sleep with dogs i.e Hassan the Hiballah PIG,who at the end will be the total of Lebanon/s destruction. If that is what they like ,who are we to argue about it. They had better remember their discomfiture/. THE SAYING:You sleep with DOGS,wake up with fleas. They deserve each other. And this time if there are any further shenanigans by Haasan,Lebanon will be totally flattened. Their problem not Israel's.
19. Brazen @ 5..You know,the Hizbullies,Syria >>
JAMES ,   ISRAEL   (05.08.10)
This Sulaiman,Hariri, all act like Jumblatt, Mkchel Aoun,Emille Lahoud all Christians!! How can they justify dealing with an Islamofascist Shiite who believes so differently then them? I can just picture them :LIKE SOME MONKEYS all climbing on the back of each other, until they topple all down on the ground breaking their bloody necks. Wowee would I like to see it too. To think young Hariri forgiving the muderer of his father,no sooner he was burried he became frirnds eith the perpetrators. You people judge them accordingly. To think BHO wants Israel to be friendly with Assad the VIPER? BHO,needs to consult with a brain surgeon to find out whether he has any grey matter there. Oh I am not sure BHO advocated Israel making friends WITH THE BLIND/VIPER assad, but the inferrence was there a couple of weeks ago(I think) Bottom line folks there is going to be a war on two fronts for Israel. I am not enjoying the prediction, because I do not want my brothers(reservists)to face another bothersome fight versus the NEANDERTHALS.
20. We should thank the UN,Genuine Tosefta?
KATE ,   ISRAEL   (05.08.10)
And UNIFIL too?You also say we lost the war? Good heavens G.Tosefta I would never in a million years would say that, sorry. Many say it,even read it in the article by Caroline Glick. But I will never acept it. Admitedly we did not do as briliantly as usual, with out preparedness by Olmert consequently the reservists who were dismayed to the extent theyannounced:DON'T CALL US AGAIN if you don't mean it You also forgot to mentiion Hassan the PIG ASKED FOR A CEASEFIRE? Just as our boys went as far as the Litani on their way to Damascus. Frankly I do ot accept failure by the IDF or IAF as such.We gave them A BLOODY NOSE did we not G.Tosefta? INIFIL are inept and a disgrace to begin with. They don't know their elbow from their arse! A fat lot of good they are too!
21. HIZBOLLAH IS NOT A PEOPLE OF LEBANON ?
ATİLLA KARAGÖZOĞLU   (05.08.10)
22. Toronto @ 14..I have a feeling this is not a genuine Tosefta
KATE ,   ISRAEL   (05.08.10)
I am almost certain he is a fake. To begin with he would never praise the UN,let alone praising UNIFIL. Not to mention admiting we lost the war. So,calm down and relax. AND YES like Ian from,UK who ends his responses I too say very ,deservedly::For my Country and People: THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!!!
23. To @ 12 Who is talking from the back of his head! B.Scott
KATE ,   ISRAEL   (05.08.10)
Send them more weapons? Are you crazy? Whether the US sent them military aid(which they hardly need anyway) You are advocating they should have more? And by the Lebanese having more weapons will cure their following Hizballah who are part and parcel of the same you dummy. Lebanon is now lost to the world,I asure you. Were they not, they would have gotten rid of Hassan long ago. Of course Iran keeps stoking the fires as it does in Iraq and therein is the problem?Perhaps, but one does not sleep with enemy, unless they are in LOVE with them. Wakey, wakey Bloodyscott
24. To ATİLLA KARAGÖZOĞLU RIGHT YOU ARE.THEY ARE JUST>>
James ,   Israel   (05.08.10)
SHITES( I purposely misspelled it. Because "shite" in english means: (BOK) Anladin?
25. Disarm ? are you kidding ,we are in state of war with Israel
sami ,   Lebanon   (05.09.10)
for the last 60 years and we sow from this neighbor the worst aggressions and you want us to deliberately disarm .You live in your own world based on your over esteem and bully mind. Do you really think all most do what you think is right and suitable for you? Give me brake,we will stock pile all kind of weapons and continue to be ready for all surprise especially from untrusty enemy like Israel. Till peace not reached Lebanon will continue to arm and let whole world drink the sea.
26. Lebanese Prez a Syro Iranian Puppet
W. ,   Beirut, Lebanon   (05.08.10)
What do you expect? He was the Lebanese Army's Commander during the years of direct Syrian occupation of Lebanon. So, please, IDF during the next war level the presidential palace, and annihilate Army units and their C&C structures, for good. Current Lebanese officials and governmental bodies are co-conspirators with Iran and Hezbo that must be erradicated. Thanks, Your Lebanese Friend
27. no25
hebrew prophet ,   israel   (05.09.10)
Poor Lebanon ,once the Jewel of the Middle East, now a puupet state run by Islamofascists, who only know violence and poverty .
28. Won't or can't...
William ,   Gotham city, Lebanon   (05.09.10)
Lebanon is no different than Somalia... a failed state that is in a coma but kept alive by the west in the hopes that it will be well again... But is the Pope Jewish? Israel tried to help once or more and failed... Just another Gaza...
29. TO Sami from Lebanon
ron ,   ny   (05.09.10)
Israel is not asking for Lebanon to disarm, They are asking Lebanon to disarm the terrorist organization Hizzabalah and for the country of Lebanon to keep all the weapons under there disposal. Can you not figure this out. The Lebanon war started because Hezbollah kidnapped Israeli soliders out of no where.
30. #25 State of Dependence on Iran
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.09.10)
You'll disarm when Iran runs out of funds to arm you. Israel can be a great neighbor to Lebanon, The Israelis and Lebanese have a lot in common. Eliminate Hezbollah and Lebanon will thrive.
