You seem to be lacking any kind of education near you. If you are ignorant, please refrain from posting stupid comments. Below a link for your enlightenment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_University_of_Beirut

oh yeah? well i surely dont remember the name of any saudi or yemeni doctor who excelled in western faculties... can u please name me some? but its true when u say that we blame foreign influence for our own problems... but that DOESNT mean its not true and pathological to our state, and benefiting other countries, and leaving us more and more helpless year after year with weak politicians that do not serve their people's interests!!

"well i surely dont remember the name of any saudi or yemeni doctor who excelled in western faculties". OK, let say I am wrong and Lebanese are special. I am sure satisfies your sense of pride, but does it really help you? Regarding you other post with reference to http://phoenicia.org/genetics.html. It is interesting and I do not have a hobbit of questioning others origins. As far as I am concerned you are who you say you are. Still, do Lebanese teach Phoenician in schools or at least learn it on their own? Do they try to restore their ancient culture? In reality saying is not enough.
