1. Until Hamas/Fatah reconcile.....

....what is the point of talks? Abbas represents only a portion of the pals... Hamas has to be dealt with, either through talks or tanks... This ongoing farce is all for building the "legacy" of Obama..

hamas idiots complain about the "Judaization" of Jerusalem is comparable to complaining about the "arabization" of mecca. Jerusalem is, will always be, and has always been central to Judaism and if some temporary muslim residents can't accept that well then there is always meccan and medina. you can't islamisize everyplace that muslims have lived and thus make it claim to it as a muslim place. fanatic radical muslims are going to have to accept that they don't own the world. in every corner they fight and blow people up to fulfill their dream of a world of islam. europe is just now starting to get an inkling of what the hell is going on. Israel has known for centuries

very well said !
6. #1 - not really true. Hamas isn't legitimate anymore
William ,   Israel   (05.10.10)
According to PLO Legislative Laws, the President (Abbas) has the power to dissolve parliament at anytime for several reasons. The bloody coup by Hamas in 2007 was one of those legitimate reason and Abbas enforced the law. Essentially, Hamas is just a terrorist group forcibly ruling over a small enclave, not much different than Al-Shabab in Somalia or the Tamil Tigers in a small portion of Sri Lanka. Abbas has the full power to negotiate but probably not for Gaza. If Abbas succeeds - which really means - if the PLO stops all incitement and agrees to the Jewish State next door, then it will be a roadmap for a success in Gaza. Gaza was supposed to be that litmus test and it showed racism was deep among the Arabs and their goal was never coexistence. If the PLO wants to show their supremacy over Hamas, they should make a 2-State solution peace. Hamas support would dry up in an instant!
7. #2 - This was always an Arab negotiating tactic
William ,   Israel   (05.10.10)
While negotiating, they arm and plan with the intention to kill their enemies or atleast extract major concessions. The "Palestinians" negotiated with Israel - and the Leftists were happy and very smug about it - then the violence began as an effort to extract concessions (or more global money). When it fails (and it always does), the "Palestinians" return and say "so, where were we?" In this case, the Left usually respond "well, we were just about to give you everything you wanted plus our holy city". The rest of us answer "are you people still here? you lost credibility years ago"
