I always thought that the elder statesmen, who held the position Chief of Staff (dead or alive) were the best and that no-one could come close to them. However, Gabi Ashkenazi changed my view of that – he is one of the best Chief of Staff we've ever had, his performance makes Barak look like a retard and Barak knows it. I was at a function a few weeks back and Gabi Ashkenazi was there, and let me tell you the man has such presence and charisma when he’s in a room, I was drooling. DAMN he’s hot!! And it disturbs me that Barak acts as a second Foreign Minister with those countries (like the US ) who prefer not to deall with Lieberman, especially as his policy is that of Labor, not of his Prime Minister. Of course, if he truly is acting consistent with Netanyahu's intentions, the electorate needs to understand that. They did not after all vote to be lead by Labor.

When Bibi begged Barak and Labor to enter the coalition, against the clear wishes of Israeli voters, all sorts of problems resulted. Barak is a disastrously failed leader who resents everyone more successful than himself. Thus his antagonism towards Ashkenazi. As a result of Barak's vendetta against Ashkenazi, the IDF's effectiveness is compromised. This is intolerable. Get rid of Barak (& Labor) and the problem will vanish.
