Officially Israel also considers the PKK a terrorist organization similar to Hamas. This is why Israel supported Turkey in the fight against PKK in the past by providing intelligence, the capture of PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan, modernizing Turkish fighter jets and tanks at a time when USA and Germany would not do it without Turkey agreeing that they would not be used against PKK and early 2009 lending unmanned aircraft to Turkey with the Israeli staff to operate them against PKK.
