germany... the article is very interesting, and i agree with #1. the pedantic bureaucracy with which this mass murder was documented, and the categorizing of people into "life" or "death" by shorthand-marks is shocking. now, it gives people clarity what happened to their relatives, and the fate of every single person is kept. after the war such cards were found in some small villages administration, faik, also with marks saying something like "politically not valuable". what happened to those cards ? did they not go to the archive ? had every german such a card ? - probably.. as being "aryan" or not was "important" too... the female schindlers list is sorted alphabetically (with few exceptions), while the male one not ?
