Both sides and bad news for israel. The Russian bear is taking some important steps in the region and I don't take israeli officials are in any position to upset or anger the bear.

Russia - like the US/UK/France & Israël + many other countries - sell anything to the highest bidder: arms, nuclear technology, even women. Israel should examine its own dubious deals in arms, diamonds & minerals in Africa, Latin America & Asia.

So what are the russians going to do? Send interconti's or wage an all-out war? Launch an invasion with lots of ships? You bet, that even under the BHO administration, the US would react, which is not in the interest of the Russian Federation. What would be a realistic threat, except "we'll deliver more gunz to the Islamists" and "no more delivery of mineral resources"? No more Lada cars? No more banya visits with Medwedew?

Knowing the trash that the russians always deliver to syria , it is safe to say that the new reactor will be nothing more than an extra oppurtunity for the IAF to target practice on nuclear reactors
