Problem solved.
2. Where were the haredi protests
michael   (05.16.10)
when the Jewish graves were exhumed from Gush katif? There was no question the graves were jewish graves. Why silence in Gush katif yet protest in ashkelon?
3. To #1 - now the graves are thought non-jewish
Avi ,   Geneva   (05.16.10)
the world will rise up and cry out that Israel disturbs the dead. As long as they were thought Jewish, nobody cared. That's the truth.
4. how can Israel Antiquities be trusted if it says half fact
observer   (05.16.10)
the other half is that: never is there any ancient Jewish grave in Israel
5. Kudos Avi #3 - plain, simple truth.

usa   (05.16.10)

8. here is roots of the actual dispute
observer   (05.16.10)
The skeletons and hair braids at the Masada have not been proved Jewish. Herod who built the Massada was as full-blooded Arab. He massacred the Jewish male boys to keep his dominance over the Jews. Israel Antiquities recognize Herod as Jewish hero, while Haredium regard him as Torah observant covert; that is the point of differences between the authority and the Ultra-orthodox.
9. Pagans ?
Sagi   (05.16.10)
As are those demonstrating in Jerusalem. Birds of a feather flock together. Pagans light fires and dance wild dances and scream and shout. Sorry folks if I offend anyone, just the facts.
10. #8 Herod was originally an idumean
Michael   (05.16.10)
who was forced to convert when Israel defeated Idumea. Herod was an extremely controversial figure. His father was an advisor to Rome. which later on supported Herod in his taking over the hasomenian Kingdom. Because Herod was so bad. The Rabbis forbid forced conversion.#8 where do you get your information from ? out of a cereal box?! or do you just make it up as you go along?
11. Haredi Have a Lot of Chutspah
Dav Lev ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (05.17.10)
In the Ukraine, the locals spit on the Haredi, when they are not stabbing or laughing at them (see reports). In NYState, the locals hate the Haredi, (see Rockland County/Spring Valley).. The Haredi are making a mockery of Judaism, a minority within. Potential Jews are driven away from us. Existing Jews are assimilated to a fault. US Jews are converting, intermarrying, assimilating..with little birth rate. Yet 100,000 Haredi have the time, charity and chutpah to kill Jewish soldiers/police over graves? It's called a schonda.
12. to #4 actually there r many jewish
ghostq   (05.17.10)
buried site and it's easy to detect them, by scientific methods. and those garaves were pagans.
13. to #10 no he never converted, his mother
ghostq   (05.17.10)
converted to Judaism, but if look closely you will find edumeans where the cousins of the Israelits by common father connection you see jackob aka Israel had a twin brother named Esau, Esau is the ancestor of the edumeas, anyway because he was half jew and that was a reason for him to kill his own wife(she was from the hashmonite dynasty-her name was Meriam) after his mental episodes(he was complete mental case) he wasn't considered like the other monarchs, that is y Herolds wasn't buried like the rest of the Israelis monarch in jerusalem, he was left dying and forgotten in his palace at Herodion which he buit for himself, they have found his graves about 3 years ago. sad to say but your info is not accurate and very disrupted, trust me I checked this matter.
14. to # 6
Dan ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.17.10)
And I suppose Mr. USA that your family is among the "original" inhabitants of the Americas right? They go back what 50, 200, 250 years tops and stole the land from whom?
15. #6,10,13,14 Herod was Arab on the paternal & maternal side
observer   (05.17.10)
Palestine in 37 BC was inhabited by Greeks, Samarians, Philistines, Judeans, Phoenicians, Nabatian Arabs and Edomite Arabs and several more Semite-Canaanite ethnic groups. Herod was born in 74 BC to an Arabian princess and a politically active Edomite Arab father whose family had converted to Judaism. Contrary to modern Zionist mythology, Palestine was not an exclusive Jewish real-estate in the period of the Gospels. Herod, ruler of the holy land, was an Arab king who was also a religiously observant Jew. Herod was an Arab leader with a strong Jewish faith, who ruled in a secular way - he could perhaps teach current Arab and Jewish politicians a trick or two. But above all he had to please imperial Rome and its insatiable appetite for material tribute, new highways, forts, conscript armies and mineral riches. He was later vilified by Jews and Christians for tolerating pagan communities and promoting religious freedom. They resented a man not of their blood, he was an Arab from Ashkelon, a tribal warrior, ferocious enough to win many a battle, shrewd enough to be an expert politician, but no true king of theirs.
16. Pagan cemetary
Keir ,   SPRINGFIELD, usa   (05.23.10)
I don't get it. I guess to me a sacred space is just that. 2000 years ago people buried their loved ones at that spot. They burned incense, believing that their prayers would rise on the smoke. Why is it ok to disrespect those honored dead Pagans, but not if they were Jews?
17. Pagans
keir ,   Springfield, La.USA   (05.23.10)
Ahh No, Pagans do not light fires , dance wild dances and scream and shout. And from I have seen jews pray to a wall while moving back and forth, and think their prayers will get answered if they place them on paper and stick them in the wall. See how stupid that is. As an American Pagan...a Wiccan, I can attest that while we may light fires and dance ...I remember seeing a bunch of Jewish men carrying another man in a chair dancing around singing at the top of their voices. Maybe you need to understand that all religions are more then what they seem. Roman Pagans were very calm and their worship was very formal. And yes you offended me.
18. #17 pagans
kwyski ,   moore,USA   (05.24.10)
As a pagan I love having big bright fires to dance around..but...for an alleged "American" pagan ...wiccan, to first disrespect in such a crude way the sacred prayers of another, then deny our own individuality to express our love for our percieved God..I am ashamed and offended more by what came from one of my own than i am by one that is misinformed.. and to leave such an contradicted message .. Pagans do not light fires , dance wild dances and scream and shout. As an American Pagan...a Wiccan, I can attest that while we may light fires and dance
