Assad wants the Golan, Kineret water, to move 1 million arabs to the Golan American money and of course the standard peace process military aid package. Just think instead of inferior MIGS & T72 tanks Assad will get a nice little present from the US of F16s & Abrams tanks. Let Assad be Irans best buddy it doesn't hurt Israel. He does not speak for Israel. It is the government of Israel and the Nation of Israel that can speak for Israel. What a simplistic view of things.
