Simon, you can't spell your name. The 4 Palestinians will not have to put up with your B.O. anymore. Boycott Divest Sanction Isolate
32. Bravo to the Palestinians for non-violent resistance
Adam ,   Australia   (05.18.10)
This is a very good non-violent campaign against the illegal settlements and will be much more effective than throwing rocks and molotov cocktails. The settlements are illegal and are an obstacle to peace, the whole world knows this. This form of non-violent resistance will gain a lot of sympathy from the World. I certainly will support this form of "resistance".
33. Like dealing with thieves
Kate ,   USA   (05.18.10)
No one should realistically expect the Palestinians to deal with the settler land thieves. It is like someone robs your home and steals your possessions, then tries to sell them back to you. That is exactly what the settlers are doing to the Palestinians and it is absurd. I fully support this effort by the Palestinians to boycott the illegal settlements on their lands.

There's the little matter of six wars -- all of them started by the Arabs and all of them won by Israel. Countries have lost major chunks of territory as a consequence of losing wars. You need look no further than what happened in Europe following both World War I and World War II. "Illegal" settlements, you say? Wrong. Israel acquired the West Bank in 1967. Jordan attacked Israel. Israel prevailed. Nothing illegal about it.

Perhaps if the Palestine Authority leadership had used some of the billions of dollars and billions of euros which it has received for 20 years to build hospitals, this would not be a problem.

What a remarkably racist and stereotypic remark! Do Shi'ites buy from Sun'nis? Does that cause a few arguments? You need look no further than Iraq.

Burning large quantities of these products is your idea of non-violent resistance? I suspect that if you tried it in Australia, the police will come and disperse the crowd and arrest the ringleaders. Besides -- don't you think that burning food products is in and of itself a gross violence? I do. It is an act of violence against every human being on the face of the earth that does not have enough to eat. -- and there is no shortage of these. Burn food? I wonder what the reaction would be in the slums of Calcutta or in Darfur. On the bright side -- no more loose talk about "starving Palestinians."
38. Legitimate
A Jeursalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.19.10)
This is a legitimate and non-violent means of fighting occupation. They have the right to do this - and I hope that they succeed. Let those companies return to producing their goods within Israel and employee Israelis.

Shut up and go to Jordan where you belong. You are no Yerushalmi. You are a fraud.
