1. Hezbollah Moderates???????
Ari ,   USA   (05.19.10)
LOLOLOL!!!!!!!!! That is like a slightly Kosher pig.
2. What in the hell ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.19.10)
... is a terrorist "moderate?" Someone who is only willing to kill five days a week? Hussein Obama and his band of merry Arabists are NOT above United States law. United States law -- six different and highly specific statutes, actually -- absolutely prohibit American citizens from contact with terrorist organizations. Hizbollah is defined as a terrorist organization. The arrogance of the current U.S. administration is mind-boggling. I know that Obama is a pretty lousy lawyer -- that's why he was never recruited by even a fourth-rate firm -- so he needs to consult with the Attorney General and learn some facts about the consequences of ordering and tolerating contact by American citizens with known terrorists. Or, I suppose, we can find a way to put him in prison. The president can make foreign policy, but he cannot apply it without the approval of the United States Senate. This arrogant president is determined to make his mark on American history. He'll do all that, but not in a particularly positive way. Midterm elections. Hussein Obama is in for a REALLY big shock. Frankly, I can't wait.
3. Like DUH! Dumbo flunked Diplomacy 101.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (05.19.10)
4. This means that the US will talk to Sayed Hassan Nasrallah,
Salma ,   Palestine   (05.19.10)
he is a great moderate
5. The war against Hizbullah does not concern Israel only.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (05.19.10)
Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Iranian-sponsored army Hezbollah, which is once again armed with thousands of rockets, says the next attack on Israel is not a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’. What is needed now, immediately and urgently, are thoughtful and coherent guidelines concerning national defense, deterrence, targeting and even preemption (anticipatory self-defense). In order to destroy the Hizbullah Israel should not hesitate to attack Syria and inflict the country severe damages. We can also fight with the rools of the terrorist as explained at : http://xrl.us/oowhv
6. The problem is Nasrallah
Mr Green ,   Manchester   (05.19.10)
Unelected and just a poodle of Ah MAD inejad Ah MAD inejad says jump and Nasrallah says How high master? Lebanon will never be free and the region will never return to stability with him in power
7. moderates in the 'party of god'??
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (05.19.10)
once a hizbullah moderate is identified, that person will no longer be part of the party of god (even if that person remains alive). can the pope be anything other than catholic? can a hizbullah member be anything other than a fanatical, genocidal terrorist? it is as impossible as breaking the laws of physics for there to be 'moderates' there.
8. Smart move
Dr.Who ,   Australia   (05.19.10)
Yes Hezbollah is a resistance movement you are correct as for the US wanting to talk to them, don't fret the Israeli"think tanks" and their ilk will once again sabotage any real chance of dialogue between anybody other than Israel again, I wonder what the story will be this time 'Syria gave Hezbollah UFO's' 'Iran gave Hamas Shahab 3 missiles' . What a fanciful deluded world we live in.
9. The question is: Who's the real terrorist?
Jim ,   NY, USA   (05.19.10)
Is it Hezbollah, who kicked Israel - forever - out of Lebanon, and who's leader btw is democratically elected in the party, and more popular or loved on the Arabic street than any other Arabic leader, OR is it the Zionist regime? No need to go far to find the answer, just Google Goldstone report, who's writer btw happened to be a credible Zionist Jew!
10. #2 SarahB,maybe he(Obama) should consult with you,ja?
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (05.19.10)
11. A Hezbollah Moderate?
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (05.19.10)
Can one be half pregnant? I agree with Mike. Hardcore members would deal ruthlessly with any olive-twig bearing dissenters. Even in a hypothetical scenario, were we to remove the serpent's head time after time, would there be a smidgeon of hope to find a moderate? I doubt it. Maybe 10 years peace at the most, while they re-arm. Ein chetzi berayon!
12. Been there, done that
R ,   israel   (05.19.10)
That's the tactic being used with Abu Mazan or however it's spelled. In the immortal words of Dr. Phil, "How's that working out for you?"
13. Failed policy
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (05.19.10)
Tis is exactly the same failed policy which the US is following in Afghanistan.
14. Peter #10 reply to Sarah B
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (05.20.10)
Sarah would make a better president than Obama.
