Israel stands on its own two feet a a sovereign state deserving a visit and not with relationship to any other Arab political entity, present or future. He should also acknowledge the Jewish people's affinity to the country and to Jerusalem=Zion as a people, one that has been an unbroken for over 3,000 years. And finally, he should apologize to the Jewish people, within and without its nation-state of which Israel is, for the the hostility and lack of respect he has exhibited for a full year towards its legal system, its government institutions and procedures, its elected officials and its prime minister, all of which are symbols of renewed Jewish sovereignty in the Land. We, Jews, need to hear him apologize for this totally unaccepted behavior, one he would have shown no other people or country on earth, but towards the Jewish people and the US ally, the state of Israel. His demand that Jews, only because they are Jewish, should refrain from residing in certain villages, towns and even city neighborhoods - a form of anti-Jewish racism however we view it, one that has passed from the US already half a century ago - perhaps explains his general attitude towards Israel and the Jewish people...!!

But if we were to judge based on his words and deeds since, one gets the strong feeling that his alliance with Rev. Wright of Chicago is much stronger! Why in the talkbacks everyone complains about Mr Obama conduct towards Israel. Let's take some reponsibility here. American Jews voted for Mr Obama , knowing that he is surrounded by Jews . They are the ones who are the problem and willing to sell off Israel just to have a job in Washington. How shameful .

Seriously, when I vote now, one criteria I will use is, 'is this person Jewish'. If so, no vote for him/her. The reason is that it is difficult to tell if such a Jewish candidate is also a 5th columnist. We have too many such leaders who think foreign policy should put Israel first even before the US. I say no more Jews in the American congress and no more money for Israel.

The last time i checked, Obama is the President of the United States and not the Prime Minister of Israel. You have the chutzpah to have him apologize to Jews even though his only interest should be the citizens of the U.S. of A.
