THESE KIND OF IDIOTS FORGET THE PAST- AND CHASE ISSUES THAT ARE ANTI- ESTABLISHMENT AND END UP LOOSING EVERYTING THAT THE GOVT HAS BUILD AND BROUGHT TO THER DOOR STEPS. INGRATITUIDE BREEDS LOOSERS BECUSE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO APPRECIATE THE BEAUTY OF ISRAEL. THAT IS TEH SAME CASE HERE IN SINGAPORE- PEOPLE FORGET TO GIVE THANKS TO G-D AND BLESS THE NATION THAT THEY LIVE IN. BENJAMIN SINGAPORE
2. the punishment to boycott violators
Ran   (05.23.10)
a tyre around the neck, gasoline and a match... just like in South Africa. South Africans did not have the will to save their country from the local mob and the international community mob... Now it appears Israel is similarly minded...
3. Time we learned
Arie ,   BaGolan   (05.23.10)
Move ALL factories to Sderot to show support and provide jobs to Israelis. Fire all Palis, not only from the settlements, but block them from working in any areas inside the Green Line as well
4. Issraeli goods are of better quality for sure.
Vardina   (05.23.10)
Israel will survive with or without Arab customers.
5. Arab provocation
Frank ,   Canada   (05.23.10)
For some reason, Arab provocations are never labelled as provocations while Jews building on their own land is regarded as one. This does not make any sense.
6. Time for Peace
Elizabethlynne ,   Dallas, Texas   (05.23.10)
It's time for peace. Period. Not just an end to fighting, but time to begin mending fences and treating each other as neighbors. As a Jewish woman, I am well aware of the difficulties of that, of the problems that extremists will cause those of us who want not only peace, but cordial relationships. If the Palestinians want to boycott the products made in the settlements, that is their right. I fear that it may end up causing hardship to those Palestinians who work in those factories though.
7. i truly would like to see
(05.23.10)
ALL THE PA LEADERS' HOMES RAIDED BY THE SAME "PA GOVERNMENT RAIDERS AND INSPECTORS.... I DO HAVE A NAGGING FEELING THAT THE LAST SENTENCE BY THE PALESTINIAN WAS TIGHT ON THE MARK...THE PA LEADERS WILL CONTINUE USING THE BETTER QUALITY ISRAELI PRODUCTS WHILE RELEGATING THEIR POPULATION TO EAT INFERIOR PALESTINIAN PRODUCTS. ITALIAN SUITS, VILLAS, GARDENS, ISRAELI PRODUCTS AND WINES AND MERCEDES CARS ARE GOING TO BE KEPT BY THE PA LEADERSHIP AND, GUESS WHAT, THE PUNISHMENT WILL BE ON THEIR PALESTINIAN SUBJECTS WHO WILL PAY THE PRICE. TYPICAL ARAB BEHAVIOR. SUBJECT YOUR SUBJECTS TO POVERTY AND LOWER QUALITY WHILE YOU, THE LEADERSHIP, CONTINUES TO ENJOY ALL THE PRODUCT THAT YOU ARE FORCING OTHERS TO DO WITHOUT AND TO BAN. HYPOCRITES AND THUGS, THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE. hameed aboughaze, iranian

mark ,   ca   (05.23.10)
"The problem is that those who need to set an example – I mean our leaders – prefer Israeli goods because they are considered to be of better quality," says a customer. When asked how long he thinks the boycott will last, he says "I don't know, I guess until the Israelis get upset and start pressuring us."
9. "it is for their own benefit"
emanon ,   USA   (05.23.10)
Hmmm . . . Where else in history have we heard these words . . . Oh yeah, that's right: by every totalitarian regime trying to do some thing wrong, repressive and harmful to their own people.
10. Israel, institute the boycott of the PA workers...now
Frank ,   USA   (05.23.10)
11. Boycott Palestian Goods
Ralph Levy ,   USA   (05.23.10)
Boycott Palestinian Goods. Refuse to hire Palestinians as workers in Israel. That is the way to fight the PA Actions. http://israelprotect.blogspot.com http://ralphsrant1.blogspot.com
12. rediculous-i thought
Barney ,   USA   (05.23.10)
that these people were hungry and taking out Israeli food products and destroying them-well-that makes a lot of sense -especially if they admit they are of superior quality. once again hatred for the Jews exceeds what is best for them. I can just see the "settlers" packing up and running away now. a publicity stunt at best. I think they should boycott Israeli hospitals, medicine, and government benefits.
13. Is someone in Israel giving this info to obumma so he can
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (05.23.10)
personally understand the attitude of the "peace partners" which Israel does not have?

16. I'm a Jewish Israeli and I have no problem with this boycott
(05.23.10)
I think the Palestinians took a logical step from their point of view - they don't recognize the legitimacy of the settlements, so why strengthen them by buying their products? I, as an Israeli have no problem with that. I think Israel should withdraw from the territories and the Palestinians should have their own state on them. If the Palestinians were not so violent and didn't have so may amongst them that reject this idea and don't recognize Israel's right to exist on any part of the old Palestine, I think there would have been a huge majority of Israelis supporting the 2 states solution. The whole settlements issue begun because after 1967, when Israel offered to give the territories back in exchange for peace, the Arabs rejected the proposal. So the Israelis believed that there could never be peace with the Arabs and that the Arabs will never recognize Israel's right to exist anywhere, and so slowly and gradually the territories which were empty for a few years started to be settled by Israelis. Israelis thought - well, if the Palestinians don't want these territories back in exchange for peace, we might as well use them. Now most of the settlers are there because of religious, messianic ideology and it's going to be much harder to evacuate them...
17. sure it would help
(05.23.10)
in a year's time, you'd be broke and hungry. great propaganda tool to fight the occupation. thumbs up!
18. Professor, Judge Stephen M. Schwebel, former President of...
Ron B. ,   Lod   (05.23.10)
Professor, Judge Stephen M. Schwebel, former President of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Hague, explains: State [Israel] acting in lawful exercise of its right of self-defense may seize and occupy foreign territory as long as such seizure and occupation are necessary to its self-defense. ... Where the prior holder [Jordan] of territory had seized that territory unlawfully, the state which subsequently takes that territory in the lawful exercise of self-defense [Israel] has, against that prior holder, Better Title. As between Israel, acting defensively in 1948 and 1967, on the one hand, and her Arab neighbors, acting aggressively, in 1948 and 1967, on the other, Israel has the better title in the territory of what was Palestine, including the WHOLE OF JERUSALEM, than do Jordan and Egypt .More at : http://xrl.us/bggbus
19. so funny if palis won't buy those products
ghostq   (05.23.10)
than Israelis will buy them, and they got more cash, I have a strong feeling palis will whine that Israel don't provids them with basic goods, they got no other alternative, except from jordan, which they will have to pay extra for custom taxes, cause Jordanians won't sell stuff tax free, in that case they might as well vote and be part of jordan.
20. I am FURIOUS at the settlers...
Yitzchak ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (05.23.10)
I am not upset with the Palestineans. They are doing what they perceive is good for themselves. Good for them. I AM FURIOUS at the settlers for NOT YET HAVING FIRED EVERY SINGLE PALESTINEAN WORKER that work in their settlements and businesses. Shame on you, you UNFAITHFUL MONEY-HUNGRY heretics who are no different than anybody else who puts money above G-d.
21. #7 hameed ,You take care of your dictatorial Mullah's regime
Salma ,   Palestine   (05.23.10)
And don't worry about us!! The Palestinians are not a flock of sheep for ANYONE , in a timely manner we'll Slap Ban on our corrupt leaders . Speaking of the hypocrites, I think You're such a hypocrite. No wonder you're the big boss of hypocrites... keep it up :)
22. Sounds like collective punishment to me!
redbourn ,   Arad, Israel   (05.23.10)
"The Pals never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity". One has to wonder whether or not PA leaders are perhaps the most stupid people in the world. It will really "be for their own benefit" to eat only locally grown and produced products. The shop owners will most likely just keep "banned" products under the counter or in a back room. "Collective punishment"?
23. to #21 actually you r flock of sheep, you look
ghostq   (05.23.10)
for hero to save you so badly, slaman fayad is the temporary but he won't be able to bring you what you want you will turn to other "leader" something by it's core realy contradict the democrachy existent.
24. Spicy Yemenite sauce & date spread-Yum
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.23.10)
This inspector is happy to load up his bag with free food he'll take home and eat for dinner. But how will the Palestinians purchase their Palestinian made products when they have no jobs? Or did they mean end the occupations?
25. #7 Tell it like it is brother !!
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (05.23.10)
26. Stop employing Palestinians and boycott their produce!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (05.23.10)
Any Israeli on either side of the "Green Line" should be prosecuted for employing Palestinians! You cannot be allowed to feed the hand that bites! It is time, whether we like it or not, to give them their bloody state and stop them, once an for all, from coming into Israel. Any fool knows that this is inevitable and closing the border fully is the only way to prevent them from killing Israelis! Under their own State they w!ill have to provide all the social services for their people. Let them leech off the Saudis and the other Arab States! I am sure that most of our Israeli Arabs would agree with this and if they would rather be "Palestinians", well, they know what they can do!
27. Ambitious, I must say
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.23.10)
Of course, once hunger starts to set in, the Palestinians will be singing a different tune. Not their "leadership," of course -- their homes are all fully stocked with Israeli and settlement-made food products. As long as they understand that there is no going back. When they are starving, they need to remember that. I have no pity for them. I don't care if they starve.
28. #27
Resistor   (05.23.10)
Many of them are already starving, Sarah. But it won't get to the stage where they have to eat rats at least! Maybe you should ask someone how they taste Sarah B?
29. Study History Before Banning Food
Christy ,   Boston, US   (05.23.10)
The PA should study history before going all out to ban food items. Regimes have been overthrown when people believe they won't get food. Ease the restrictions in gradually. Have replacement products ready for all that are removed from the shelves. I think it's a good thing for the PA to want to grow its economy. However, don't 'break your nose to spite your face'.
30. To: No. 28
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.24.10)
Aw, what a pity. Why doesn't the Palestinian "leadership" do something about it? Huh? It's not exactly as if money hasn't poured into the Palestine Authority coffers for twenty years. Where'd it all go? Certainly not to the ordinary Palestinians, that's for sure. Awwww. So -- who took it all?
