As much as the SLA members long to return to a free Lebanon, and we all share in that dream, we are glad to have these brave and righteous people as citizens of Israel. Thank you, deeply. We can truly say that Lebanon's loss is our gain in having you here.

Did you say that you have not committed the massacre of Sabra and Shatila ?!!!!!! ha,Oh, yes, you only provide shelter for the killers...shame on you!

Marco ,   Spain   (05.24.10)
Those so called SLA cowards were defending Lebanon from who? It seems that they have outstayed their welcome in Israel. It seems that they are tired from being treated as seond class human beings by Israeli Jews who are worried about Israel loosing its Jewish identity..

Given that Lebanon and Israel are in a state of war (There is an armistice agreement but not peace). Any Lebanese offering assistance to Israel is considered as Traitor. As such there is a law that applies to traitors, and traitor's penalty could lead to a death sentence depending on the gravity of their treachery. However in the case of SLA members & their families, the Lebanese state has adopted a very lenient attitude. Women and Children and elderly are welcomed back no strings attached, and so many families have done so already, and are now living normally in Lebanon. For SLA members, as soon as they get in Lebanon they are handed to the authorities, who subject them to interrogation to determine what is the extent of their involvEment in the SLA, and if they are responsible of any crimes against Lebanese (Killing, hurting & Stealing from Lebanese). Usually those who know what they committed in Lebanon will never consider returning to Lebanon. As for those who played a minor role in the SLA, they will stand trial, and they can get a jail sentence of 6 month up to 3 years. FYI - Even Lebanese Jews are being invited to return back to their homecountry Lebanon, and the Jewish Synagogue at the heart of Beirut is being rebuilt to welcome them.
