How about taking the ships to Ashdod, gather all their passengers and forcibly take them to Yad Vashem where they are made to spend a good few days so they can understand what concentration camps were all about? Then maybe let them loose in Gaza for a few more days so they can compare?

I went on the land convoy which entered Gaza through Egypt in the new year, so I can say that I have seen the conditions there. They are awful, and they are imposed by the Israelis. I am not a terrorist, I am a 63 year old English woman who believes that the Israeli state was founded on lies and continues to lie. If I was younger I would have gone on the flotilla, but I am sure that those who are there are only motivated by sympathy.

The very minimum Israel can expect if they stop this relief flotilla is the severing of all diplomatic ties with Turkey. Normal decent Israelis should ask if it is worth it?

This group should go to Turkey (in support of the Kurds), Russia (in support of the Chenchens), Iran, North Korea for a rousing welcome. They will regret ever embarking on such a trip. Israel is too liberal.

Tons and tons of medicines, foods, fuels enter Gaza from Israel each week. It puts a big dent in the Israeli economy. Here's an idea: Inspect and confiscate weapons and building supplies, then let the boats in to deliver the 'humanitarian' supplies, and STOP ALL AID FROM ISRAEL TO GAZA.

The FT writes that tunnel operators are concerned over falling prices because of a surplus of good. As for "concentration camps" - my parents were both in concentration camps. UNWRA (nor the Red Cross, nor anyone else) sent supplies. If detained, their facilities will be more like summer camps than concentration camps. Put them in jail with their beloved Palestinian terrorists, and you won't have this problem in the future.
