#26 is right. You don't need to follow all Jewish Mitzvot. It is enough and perfect just to follow the next, and if you just do that, and we Jews do our part, everything will be alright: 1-You shall not have any idols before God. 2- You shall not murder. 3-You shall not steal. 4-You shall not commit any of a series of sexual prohibitions, which include adultery, incest, anal intercourse between men and bestiality. 5- You shall not blaspheme God's name. 6- Do not eat flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive. 7- Set up a governing body of law ( Courts)

catechism and read about the Sabbath, you will learn the Roman Catholic Church did not change the Sabbath to Sunday as many suppose. It says Saturday is the Sabbath of the Bible but it is celebrated on Sunday. The failure is in clarifying to followers that Saturday should be kept holy by not buying or selling food or wares and other prohibitions for the Sabbath of the Bible. Celebrating the Sabbath on Sunday enables people to stay home on Saturday if they choose to keep the Sabbath of the Bible holy. The Protestants wrongly believe the Sabbath was changed instead of the day to celebrate it.
33. Catholic woman must live as Orthodox Jew

The tone of this article is so disgusting. The American court is obviously respecting the fact that the kid in question is a Jew and is being brought up as such. You, Rebecca Bitton, as a Jew, should at least have a modicum of respect for Judaism and not tout the the lifestyle of these goyim. "she will not be able to feed the child pork" - are you saying "what a shame"? We, the Jewish nation is in such a mess because of writers like Ms. Bitton and their shameful opinions.

really am.I was raised catholic as a kid . As an adult been leaning towards judaism for ages. Two things come to mind. A. who was which faith before? And i'm thinking he should get an anulment to his marriage to his current wife, or let the child be raised by his birth mother. You can't have it both ways.Your inflicting pain on both sides. When the child is older,he will figure it out ,but the new wife shouldn't be enforced to live different than her beleifs.

Make no mistake our country is very lenient on the issues of divorce and remarriage. I guess it's because people are sinners, and in some ways our country doesn't try to stand directly in the way. However it's definitely not the ideal. Anyways, the complaining new wife should stop and think about how the original wife feels.
36. A friend of mine...
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (06.01.10)
...adopted an orthodox life style when he married an orthodox woman. He decided to look for an orthodox girl rather than a conservative or a reform, because he thought she would have higher values. A couple of years into the marriage, she cheated on him, and they got a divorce. My friend was a gentleman, and, especially for the good of the children, let it be a no fault divorce, and did not mention the adultery in court. The adultress insisted that he keep kosher and Shabbat at home if he wanted to see their children. What could he do but agree? No shame. No shame at all.
37. Absolutely Ridiculous !!!!
Lin ,   Haifa   (06.01.10)
This is soo wrong that i cant even put into words...who is this judge to decided the religion that one should follow....especially this case being someone that is a certain religion and them forcing them to live by and follow another religion....are they serious.... how is this happening today... i think if the mother is as religious as she claims, then she shouldn't of married a non-jew in the first place....the man and his new wife should fight this and not let the court break their right to believe in what they choose. ... whatever happened to the first ammendment?
