This past May 17 (2010) at about 8:30 PM a few Jewish friends and I met in private to pray for the return of Eli's remains to his family in Israel. It has been 45 years too long. I have a feeling that his remains will not be returned until the Golan Heights are returned to Syria. That will be a high price to pay. Eli Cohen gave his life for his people and his country. I am only saddened that he had but one life to give. May his soul rest in peace.
