Keren ,   IL-BR   (05.31.10)
Check these numbers because they come from paliwood sorces! Barak MUST not regret anything! It is these wild bloody dogs that must regret for having threatened Israel's sovereinty wich such blatant provocation!
3. It's "Obama Cruise"
Israeli citizen   (05.31.10)
Obama's obsequious attitude towards the ruthless Muslim despots has launched a world onslaught on Israeli targets.
4. Next Time
Joseph ,   Malta   (05.31.10)
lay mines in the sea and there should be no regrets form the State of Israel. it will save IDF causualties. They asked for it, and got it. now the usuall whimpering and crying. They wanted to be though, now they suffer the consequencs. Well Done IDF. I hope your injured will get well soon.
5. :)
Fankoush   (05.31.10)
Reports are that was an attack on a Turkish boat in international waters. As such Turkey may invoke article 5 of the NATO treaty which will require the US to respond to the attack
6. Big Mistake
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.31.10)
Looking back to January 2009 and D.M. Barak's (IDF) failure to defeat Hamas in order to please his Pimp in Washington Israel continues to pay a big price for this serious failure to defeat Hamas. All of ISRAEL'S goodwill and appeasement has had the opposite effect. It would be wise to return the concept of victory to the vocabulary of the IDF and remove the loser politicians who are always apologizing and appeaseing everyone. The world knows how to push Israel's buttons and make them feel guilty. It's past time for Israel to stop playing the remoursful wimp in this deadly showdown for it's survival unless 'Never Again' is just another meaningless slogan.. The message should be ; 'Sail to Gaza and you''re fish food' The many enemies of Israel including Turkey only understand brut force.
7. it doesnt matter
walt kovacs ,   los angeles, califor   (05.31.10)
and the idf should have known this. no matter what they did, they were going to get blamed for any mishap. my gosh, they were blaming israel for the technical snafus that were occuring in cyprus. im still unclear as to why the navy felt an onboard landing was necessary i will wait until a full investigation is launched....but i hope everyone is prepared for the world wide condemnations that will occur.. israel has to work on its pr.

9. A deal
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (05.31.10)
Ehud Barak is a public relations disaster. He is the most anti-Jewish Defense Minister ever, spending his time illegally stopping Jewish building, including setting-up special Jew hunting units. Despite his extreme-Left and anti-Israeli credentials, in both the Hamas Flotilla and in Cast Lead, somehow Barak succeeded in getting Israel blamed for war crimes. Israel should send Barak to the Hague to be tried as a war criminal.
10. "not me guv"
bill posters ,   london uk   (05.31.10)
A common theme in your conflicts as stated this time "that the organizers of the flotilla to Gaza were responsible for the deadly Israel Defense Forces" or Hamas was responsible, or the PLA was responsible or Lebonan was responsible, or the someother sod was resonsible, never you lot, who seem to do all the killing but its never your responsibilty.
11. well they did lie about their purpose
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (05.31.10)
some 'peace' and 'aid' the lying flotilla brought. oh well, stupid is as stupid does.
12. They came looking for blood!
Ana ,   Spain.   (05.31.10)
Any normal, inteligent person can see that they came looking for a fight. NOw the Arabs are screaming and shouting.
13. Consequences
Brent ,   Lawrence, USA   (05.31.10)
If a policeman stops you and you attack him, should you be surprised if he fights back or shoots you? Attacking fully armed soldiers demonstrates that this was a planned provocation. No doubt the soldiers were stunned by the response which is why some of the activist/terrorists were able to seize a pistol or two from the soldiers. Now the world will again condemn Israel but remain still silent over the rockets, bombs, and terrorist attacks originating in Gaza and the West Bank.
14. Even the way they talk is evidence they are crazy abominable
Tom ,   US   (05.31.10)
15. I Am Sorry To Say . . .
emanon ,   USA   (05.31.10)
I am sorry to say, I expected this. The al Dura affair will pale in comparison to this. Israel was manipulated into the lose / lose position. There was no way to ascertain beforehand that the people on board had weapons, but it was a reasonably good guess. The terrorstinians are not above putting gullible civilians in harms way as human shields, then using them as propaganda fodder when they are set up to be killed. They will do anything in their media war and real war against Israel. The only two characters missing from this propaganda production were green helmet and crying lady. You remember these people, don't you?
16. Resignation needed and immediately
Lou Gelehrter ,   Jerusalem   (05.31.10)
It was highly predictable the outcome of this operation. People with heads on their shoulders understand that the stupid elephant played again games in a Crystals Shop. The fact that the military, and first of all the defense minister did not understand the catastrophic political result of this operation around the world and in Israel, shows that we can not trust the government in defending the well being of the people in this country. There is no other solution for the moment but to ask the resignation of those unbelievable blind people in power, responsible for the wrong decisions. Ehud Barack should go first and immediately.
17. Wow!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.31.10)
For so-called "peaceful humanitarians," the people aboard the vessels in the flotilla sure were violent. Found lots of weapons aboard those vessels, too. Hmmm. "Peaceful humanitarians" indeed. I'm not worried about the public relations aspect. Israel did what any other sovereign state would do -- defend itself from illegal smugglers. To the Israeli who was wounded, I wish a speedy and full recovery. To the "peaceful humanitarians" who died -- enjoy hell. And to the Israeli Navy -- KOL HA'KAVOD!!
18. Stay Strong Israel
Marie Gossenberger ,   Charlotte, NC   (05.31.10)
We know what these people's intent was. It's clear these "activists" were anything but peace activists. What kind of peace activists are armed with bayonets and rocks on a ship? We are becoming more and more familiar with the below the belt tactics of the Islamic Jihadists. I say to the Jihadists, "You may be able to fool some of the people most of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." Be strong Israel! You have a lot of friends all over the world!
19. Yes,
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (05.31.10)
I remember Green helmet and crying lady, famous actors from Lebanon. But wait, they might show their faces in some footage, don't give up just yet.
20. Media
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (05.31.10)
And now intrntl media is full again of condemnation of Isreal's blockade of Gaza. How come that nobody tells the world again, what would stop the blockade: recognition of Israel, giving up of terror activities, respecting of previously signed docs and free Gilad. None of that is mentioned. Fair? Yea, right..
21. great work
Gilead ,   telaviv   (05.31.10)
great work IDF, once again we prove to the world how savage we are and how inhuman we are, IDF should have missiled these ships all together and claim that they spotted a nuclear weapon on board these ships, that's probably a better excuse than saying we had to kill 19 persons because someone attacked our best trained highly equipped soldiers with kitchen knifes !!! bravoooooooooooo
22. May the 6 Israeli IDF men get well soon
Anon ,   Johannesburg   (05.31.10)
And may the rest on that boat burn in hell
BEN ,   EARTH   (05.31.10)

Leviticus 24. please read it. If you do not understand . Read it again. If you dont understand read it again. If you do not understand act as today.
25. your mothers are responsible

26. The Worlds double standards.

All the countries that go against Israel will be cursed. The end.
27. #13 Brent
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (05.31.10)
If you are an Arab and it is an Israeli policeman - yes.
28. :: “Israel murders 15 civilians in international waters”
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (05.31.10)
Such are the news headlines worldwide. Israel may have stopped the flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and in the process killing at least 15 people but it will carry a heavy price. No amount of PR Spin/Hasbara will change the global perception that Israel is a murderous rogue state hell-bent on maintaining its illegal occupation of the Palestinian People. I have just finished listening to an interview with the Israeli ambassador to my country as he tried to ‘explain’ that “We are a peace-loving people” who killed 15 people in international waters as they tried to deliver humanitarian aid to the besieged people of Gaza – he was useless and got ripped apart by the interviewer. The fallout from this event will haunt Israel fro a long time to come.
29. An act of piracy
Robert ,   Brisbane, Australia   (05.31.10)
This was an act of piracy in international waters for which Israel will be held accountable. The truth will emerge when the independent reporters report the facts of the situation, that is if Israel has the guts to release them.
30. bill posters in Londonistan
Joan ,   New Zealand   (05.31.10)
Not me mate, but it will soon be you mate. London is on the way down sinking in the Leftists governments mess. To think that so many of our precious men died to aid a Britain we were taught to love. Well not any more, you and people like you are filling your land with Islam and you do not seem to be aware of the danger of such a move. Read 'Londonistan' and then a lightly boiled Asprin and a nice cup of tea may help.
