Then if they make any noises, put a nuke on Ankara.
7. Bibi's visit to the White House...
Erastus CoupeDeVille ,   Ong's Hat, NJ USA   (05.31.10)
First, the slap in the face when the US didn't support Israel in a crucial vote at last friday's NPT conference. Now, this self-inflicted PR wound. Methinks it the WhiteHouse's tradesman's entrance for Bibi again.
8. Turkey
David ,   Haifa   (05.31.10)
No matter whether Israel's response today was wise, or who is to blame for the mess (personally I would say the so-called peace-activists), I think it is about time for us to start considering Turkey as an enemy state. Israelis who choose to go there can do so at their own risk. Our relationship with that country is no longer an asset, but a liability. At least until the Western secular forces over there regain their power over the religious extremists and the (secular and religious) nationalists.
9. Polls show Erdogan's Party losing popularity

11. The Prince of Persia
ky ,   uk   (05.31.10)
The boats they came from far and wide, sailed in upon the silverd moonlit tide. They claimed to be Gazas martyrd pride,Carrying cargo to break an embargo. But bobbed and tossed on the foaming brine Comissioned to expose a crime. Like pirates on the seven seas Sent forth to raise a king some fees. Tis said the king that paid the purse Was no less, or was no worse than a crown prince. and Persian.
12. MAN UP ISRAEL
Sherman ,   USA   (05.31.10)
I support Israel 100 percent and consider myself a duel resident but this was a disaster. This was a keystone cop operation from beginning to end. Israel has to take the moral high ground and issue an apology and a sincere one no matter how painful it might be. In the world's eyes the verdict is already in so Israel needs to swallow its pride and MAN up.
13. BIBI SHOULD SNUB OBAMA
tony   (05.31.10)
Bibi should snub Obama for the visit. It is possibly a trap to humiliate him. And well done IDF.
14. don't worry i will just lock you in
jane ,   Sydney   (05.31.10)
nobody is your friend ever because you bite all. knowing you are not accepted by others who respect humans will lead your heart to dry and evaporate the love in your heart. who will, then, care if they truly see your heart to be within your door. oh Mikeee.
15. Let send help for Kurds in Turkey
Ortal ,   Haifa   (05.31.10)
I wonder what would have happened if this ship was an Israeli ship that doing is way to help Kurds in Turkey? The Israeli ship will be drowned by Turkey. Israel asked from the organizers, so called "peace actives" to send the goods through Israel in a diplomatic way. They acted provocative and attacked soldiers!
16. That's okay
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.31.10)
Israel should withdraw his credentials. Now he gets to spend the rest of his life in Turkey, poor thing. Oh -- and bring the Israeli ambassador home. Turkey is no friend. They have chosen to lie in bed with Syria and Iran. Hey -- if you go to bed with dogs; you wake up with fleas. If Turkey prefers dogs .... hey .... that's why they're not welcome into the EU anytime soon, and likely why they will be kicked out of NATO.
17. RECALL ISRAELI AMBASSADOR from Turkey. SLAM Turkey in the UN
(05.31.10)
for their maritime attack on Israel!
18. Understand the Islamic Rage
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.31.10)
It's getting harder for Israel to exert force against her enemies. They would rather have the Jews disarmed and go quietly to their death as they have done so often before. That is why the world is in an uproar again. The North Korean sinking of the South Korean ship did not result in the fever pitch rage and madness that the Islamic world will raise this to on the global stage. All of Israel's goodwill and appeasement for a non existent peace has had the opposite effect. It has only been seen as weakness and defeatist by everyone. Even one time friend and ally Turkey smells blood and has dumped retreating, defeatist Israel and united with Israel's enemies for the final kill. The script 'Blame Israel' is one thing the whole damned world agrees upon as they are too fearful and cowardly to blame Islam for anything. Israel is such an easier target without any chance of blowback. It would be wise for Israel to return the concept of victory to the vocabulary of the IDF and remove the loser politicians who are always apologizing and appeasing everyone.
19. To those who glorify "IDF"
Salma ,   Palestine   (05.31.10)
You are a mindless and stupid more than I thought, what did your troops today? !! Any terrorist can do the same thing, this is shameful cowardice, not courage cherished by !
20. Turkey is becoming an Islamic state.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (05.31.10)
Israelis should be aware that the Turkish alliance with Israel is not iron-clad. Its revival in the 1990’s, after decades of cold shoulder relations, was prompted by a rare convergence of strategic and economic interests, that were bolstered by the generous assistance that Israel poured on the most hard-hit areas of Turkey during the 1999 earthquake. But Turkey is a Muslim country, in spite of its commitment to maintain secular rule. No one could foresee the rise to power of Necmettin Erbakan precisely in those years of the summit in the honeymoon, but no one could forget either, that the army swiftly removed him and banned his party when he imprudently came too close to Iran. The army, who remained the arbiter of the correct behavior of the government, could by the same token threaten Syria with invasion and war if the latter did not desist from its support to Kurdish Turks. 21. Arrest Israeli War Criminals in international waters!
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (05.31.10)
Pro-Israeli Erdogan and his AKP government try to calm down reactions such a fashion that max votes shall be obtained from such protests in Turkey Erdogan is not only Prime Minister but also PRIMERAY RESPONSIBLE person from THOSE ISRAELI ATTACKS Two weeks ago he LET ISRAE IN OECD Now We hear TURKEY CANCELLED 3 JOINT MILITARY EXCERCISE TO TAKE PLACE NEXT MONTH!!! That is PM ERDOGAN STILL PLANNED JOINT MILITARY EXCERCISES WITH ISRAEL it is not important now to cancell them rather Erdogan keeps military relations and cooperation with Israel despite quarels with Israel on the surface. Closest Allies of Erdogan and his financer Kucukcalik, owner of SABAH Newspaper, is a businessman undertaking construction works in ISRAEL I wonder how many of them are new settlement construction to oust palestinians from their lands PM Erdogan is not sincere in his attitudes against Israel, he is primary supporter and fried of Israel
22. Cynical Turkish Government. Wonder what the army will do
Jonny ,   South Africa   (05.31.10)
This was a cynical move by Turkey to ingratiate itself with Islamist radical states. They could have ordered the Turkish ship not to proceed. The only one with any sense was Cyprus. The EU need to hae their backsides kicked. They to should have been aware of the consequences. But then, you only have to look at the member politicians to realise that there are not to many brain cells amongst them As for Greece, at least they managed to divert a bit of attention away from their economically and morally bankrupt state.
23. Ever dealt with a former friend?
Dan the Jafa ,   Auckland, Aotaroa   (05.31.10)
...who due to mental illness has become a threat to yourself and your family. At some stage one has consider own safety and that of the family and let go. Tukeys have become a threat. Just because once they were relatively friendlier than the rest of the neighbors, they are no less of a threat now that they have shown their true colors. Send their "envoy" packing, airlift your ambassador and remaining Jews, and let Turkeys rot in their own bile. This kiwi stands by you 100%. Dan
24. Turkey OUT of Kurdistan - END occupation of 20 million Kurds
Moshe ,   Beit Shemesh   (05.31.10)

25. Turkeys diplomatic recall
DT ,   TA Israel   (05.31.10)
Thanks . Keep him and we don't want him back or any other of your diplomats who so coneveniently forget your country's genocide in Armenia and the Kurds
26. Turkey Ottoman Armada attacked and has been soundly defeated
eporue ,   europe   (05.31.10)
They got what they deserved and now they are whining like children. The end result is that will not dare doing this kind of tricks ever again.
27. Turkey will pay a steep price for instigating this event
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (05.31.10)
The strangest aspect of this entire sad story is Turkey's role as instigator. Why is Turkey suddenly so concerned about Palestinians that the Turkish government sent this flotilla? What was Turkey's real intention aside from sending agitators and sparking an international incident? It is clear that these are not "peace protestors" but anti-Israel activists. It is clear this has nothing to do with the peace process, since we haven't heard a single call for peace negotiations from either the "activists" or Turkey before today. It is also very clear that Turkey could have send a million tons of aid to Gaza via Israel, but chose not to do so. So the Turks aren't really that concerned for the welfare of Gazans, but they were very interested in igniting an international incident. Why? And how long will the Turkish army put up with actions that threaten Turkey's standing in NATO?
28. to all the blatant about international water
ghostq   (05.31.10)
just want to make clear, international water means the area doesn't belong to no country, sogive t a rest cause it doesn't belong to Turkey it doesn't belong to cyprus it doesn't belong to Europe and it doesn't belong to Israel ence, the zone erea is not important cause the same event could happened in Israel zone that was their final destination unless they invented gaza in LYbia which is very odd, you scream international but it doesn't belong to no country. just good reason to bash jews.
29. why
(05.31.10)
why doesn't israeli goverment give permission to tükish people?they just want to help palestinian people,I think.
30. Turks
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (05.31.10)
Since EU didn't want them, they bowed towards Iran. Aren't they big enough to stand on their own?
