No Birdy, you recognize me as what YOU want I am, as what doesn't bother you, this is slightly different. The part of my family (from where I get my name) comes from a north african Berber tribe converted to judaism in the 7th century, according to some research. My grand-parents, and their parents etc... spoke arabic, and some of them (rabbis) hebrew and arabic, and the other ones, right spanish. So, yes, I define myself as an arab (multi-ethnic) jew, not a muslim jew (small difference) I agree. I am happy with my mediterranean culture and I dream of a new judeo-muslim golden age, and I think/hope that the return of jew on their land can be a new beginning. I love Rambam by the way, one of the greatest jewish thinker of all times. He finished his life as a private doctor of Saladin, egyptian Sultan. He wrote most of his texts in arabic. Well, I know that it can appear strange for some people, not familiar with the mediterranean culture, that jews can love it, and even can love their arab cousins ;-) Even if it is not the best time for that.
