1. Was able to avoid this act
sam ,   colorado   (06.01.10)
The State of Israel has not any pretext could be the Israeli army to avoid the fire and whom gave the order for the fire is stupid act this act has been condemned Israel in the whole world
2. top israel government and heads of military
sher   (06.01.10)
those heads of government must be thrown out. the fact that one israel was injured is unacceptable. the only way soldiers should face enemy is with guns blazing unrelenting fire on the enemy. that fact that one person was capatured instead of buryed at sea is proof that israel is not capable of fighting arabs because the government refuses to win. everyone should feel badly for the injured israelis and immediate change must take place to defend israel with massive killing of the enemy.
3. Disgusting...
Scott Smith ,   Weakbeer UT, USA   (06.01.10)
Israel illegal invades a ship full of humanitarian aid and claims to be the victim. Israel committed an act of piracy in international waters. The people aboard the ships that the Israeli's pirated had every right to defend themselves. Israeli's are not the only people with a right to self defense. If pirates were attempting to board a ship that I was on, regardless of their nation of origin, I would be clubbing and stabbing them too. What a disgusting and cowardly act by the Rouge State of Israel.
4. Egypt must annex the Gaza and will make end to this besiege
E M Jordan is pales ,   s.f   (05.31.10)
The Islamic nation always looking to an excuse to keep this conflict alive, once their excuse was occupied territory and Israel finally left and later on thousand of missiles have been shooting from the Gaza inside of innocent civilian territory, beside Israel always have provided food and fuels for the Gaza and do not forget there is international law and bunch’s of lefties dose not have rights to acts by themselves, it was UN responsibility to provide any indirectly help to Gaza population and bunch’s anti Israeli did not have rights to take the law on their hands for more propagandas against State of Israel, in the end IDF made the rights decision and it is warning for the other anti Israeli not to take law in their hands.
5. The besieged children of Gaza
Jacob ,   Holon, Israel   (06.01.10)
If because of the delay of the flotilla the children of besieged Gaza don't know where there next meal will come from, what did they do for the past 20 weeks when these great humanitarians of the IHH weren't coming rushing to their aid.
This is just BS. It's just Turkey trying to start more provocation, but hiding behind the UN now instead of a "Humanitarian Flag"
Also, I don't know why it isn't talked about but in the video of the soldiers repelling onto the boat and then being severely beaten, you can see them flying a white flag of truce on the boat. They use the white flag of truce to lure in the soldiers only to be assaulted.
6. Flotilla participants not peace activists

I hope that Mrs. Greta Berlin can sleep at night for SHE was the 'proud spokesperson for this 'PEACE activity farce! SHE can say or deny what she wants, but the "blood is on HER hands, together with the 'organizers of this spectacle.
8. Storming the ships by air is pure stupidity

Nick Sporek ,   Canada   (06.01.10)
... don't risk the lives of our soldiers like that again.
10. 'Turkish FM: Israel's hands are covered with blood'
Michael, Haifa ,   State of Israel   (06.01.10)
Turkish FM, YOUR hands are covered with blood - you didn't stop flotilla. Be honest! Go to bathroom, look at mirror and say to yourself(at least) the truth. Than, you'll be doing better next time. I wish you success!
11. Oh yeah, "peace activists" with weapons
Nick Sporek ,   Canada   (06.01.10)
I wonder which religion they to practice.
12. Israel did not learn from Armenians anything?

Reclaiming our language from the Left Courtesy of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Thursday Israel will again be the target of a jihadist-leftist propaganda assault. A flotilla of nine ships which set sail for Gaza from Cyprus earlier this week is scheduled to arrive at our doorstep. The expressed aim of the flotilla's organizers is to unlawfully provide aid and comfort to Hamas - an illegal terrorist organization. Since it seized power in Gaza three years ago, Hamas, which is openly committed to the genocide of world Jewry and the physical eradication of Israel, has transformed the Gaza Strip into a hub of the global jihad. It has been illegally holding hostage Gilad Schalit incommunicado for four years. And it is continuously engaged in a massive, Iranian-financed arms buildup ahead of its next assault. Beyond providing aid to Hamas, the declared aim of the "Free Gaza" movement is to coerce Israel into providing Hamas with an outlet to the sea. This too is in contravention of international law which expressly prohibits states and non-state actors from providing any support to terrorist organizations. IN SENDING out the latest group of ships, Turkey and its Irish, Greek and Swedish partners seek to appropriate the imagery of the Jewish pre-statehood struggle for independence from Britain. In a bid to appease Hamas's jihadist precursors, in 1939 Britain's Mandatory authorities broke international law and prohibited Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine. The League of Nations' letter of mandate for Britain specifically enjoined the British to facilitate Jewish immigration to the land of Israel. Yet following the Arab terror war from 1936-1939, the British issued the White Paper that all but prohibited Jewish immigration. This move blocked the one place on Earth where European Jews were wanted from accepting them and so trapped 6 million Jews in Hitler's Europe. In the aftermath of the war, the British maintained their prohibition on Jewish immigration. To fight this British policy, the Zionist leadership in pre-state Israel organized the Aliya Bet program of illegal immigration. Jewish agents scoured the world for ships large enough to bring Europe's Jewish refugees to the land of Israel. The ship most emblematic of the era was the Exodus. The Exodus which set sail from France in July 1947 with 4,515 Jewish Holocaust survivors on board was the Zionist response to a new British policy to force illegal immigrant ships to return to Europe. The British rammed the Exodus in Haifa. They boarded and killed three Jewish defenders. They then forced its passengers to board British prison ships that would return them to Europe. French authorities denied the ships the right to land in France, so the British sailed on to Hamburg, Germany, where the refugees were forced to disembark. The international outcry against Britain in the wake of the Exodus affair shamed London into cancelling its new policy. It also paved the way for Israel's independence 10 months later. Now the Turkish, Greek, Swedish and Irish governments are colluding with Hamas to purloin the imagery of the Exodus and the heroism of the Jewish people in the years leading up to statehood and project that imagery onto a terrorist organization that seeks to complete Hitler's work. They further seek to invert reality by portraying Israel, which in accordance with international law is trying to contain and defeat Hamas, as a combination of the German Nazis and the British imperialists. SO FAR, they are getting away with it. So far, for their efforts on behalf of a genocidal terrorist organization Erdogan and his ilk are being extolled as human rights champions. Barring any unexpected events, Israel will suffer yet another public relations disaster on Thursday when the ships approach Gaza.Caroline Glick
14. #3 "piracy in international waters"
Hagrid   (06.01.10)
San Remo Manual on International Law Applicable to Armed Conflicts at Sea, 12 June 1994, paragraph 67: "Merchant vessels flying the flag of neutral States may not be attacked unless they: (a) are believed on reasonable grounds to be carrying contraband or breaching a blockade, and after prior warning they intentionally and clearly refuse to stop, or intentionally and clearly resist visit, search or capture." All of these conditions were very clearly met in this case. Well, so much for the "Piracy in International Waters" theory. Sorry, Scott, to confuse here with facts. ;-)
15. #4, Egypt fears the terrorism of gazans. They are helping
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (06.01.10)
Israel shut down smuggling tunnels. hamass and the "muslum brotherhood" in Egypt are an identical class of violent terrorists and Egypt doesn't want any more from gaza. Good idea but it will never happen while Mubarak controls Egypt.
16. Today it is Israel, very soon all the wold will feel it...
nicoleti   (06.01.10)
It is easy to point the finger at Israel and criticize its moves. Wait until that terror meets you wives and kids and then let us hear your wonderful opinions. People who come with peace intentions do not behave this way! And as we say: "when you go to sleep with dogs, don't be surprised to wake up with flees". These are not people of peace – so don't let them sell you this ridicules ideas. Today the Muslims are coming after Israel – tomorrow they will get all over the world. Be ware, keep your eyes open for the terrorist, they are all around you.
17. good work
marv   (06.01.10)
Israel-good work. Now, I do not want to see commandos rapelling into a mob. The deck should have been sprayed with tear gas or hosed before insertion. And no more olmerts of insufficient force. So a distraction would have to occur for safe commando insertion. Paintballs with palestinians is a bloody joke as they will fight. The border force would have made short work of the pals. Go in strong. What is it with the gas chamber meek jew? Enough of it. This is not the time to point fingers. Solidarity is needed as the world stacks up against israel. Good work boys.
18. Israel is a criminal state.
Gustavo CL ,   Belo Horizonte, Braz   (06.01.10)
After 9 deaths of activists, Yediot Ahronot complains about the public relations falure. It's the only place in the world where each "victim" die for each 100 "terrorists". Usually one terrorist kills 100 people. In Israel, the death of 100 "terrorists" (which includes anyone that opposes Israel crimes or children from Lebanon or Gaza ) is justified as a fair answer to the death of one or no "victim" (usually military people).
19. Take care with the terrorists with metal poles!!!
Gustavo CL ,   Belo Horizonte, Braz   (06.01.10)
The world is on alert! Israel has called the UN security council to act on the dangerous terrorists with metal poles!!
20. read this
You are disgusting! first of all... be well informed before you start talking badly about israel. you have no idea of what you are saying. israel went into that ship ONE by ONE from a hellicopter with PAINTBALL guns! obviously nobody was supposed to get hurt! what kind of "humanitarians" carry weapons on their ship ad hit soldiers with them?? They were on ISRAELI TERRITORY without permission! any country would have done thew same thing to stop them! israels "Invasion" wasnt illegal it was done completely according to international law. look it up before you start making stupid comments!
21. violations
Ahyar Haqi ,   jakarta indonesia   (06.01.10)
we condemn israel navy brutality against humanitarian activist , we as part of international community support humanitarian aid to gaza. what IDF and israel navy have done are embarrassing act and unmoral at all. The UN must impose a punishment for gross human rights violations by Israel as found by goldstone's report.
22. A day of mourning in Turkey
Dan the Jafa ,   Auckland, Aotearoa   (06.01.10)
Turkeys have discovered that Israelis are not like Armenians - when attacked, they have the audacity to fight back. What an outrageous outrage! What the world is coming to!

24. Deception
Sam ,   New Zealand   (06.01.10)
I regretted that Israeli going on board to the ships. If I were Israeli, I would just secretly create a scene like an accident where all boats were destroyed and all 600 died with it. Thus, that will end all the story... Just like North Korea torpedoed South Korean submarine...
25. Gaza Blockade
Norman ,   Philippines   (06.01.10)
Lift Gaza blockade and all hell breaks loose Kaboom! This is the day Palestinian terrorists have been waiting for.

Massacre the Israelis like the Armenians? That's why I believe Turkey will never be able to join the EU. Anyway before it happens Ankara will be no more blown up to kingdom come.
28. stupid millitary action,
Mamud ,   Lebanon   (06.01.10)
landing on the boats this way, it self is a stupid move and illegal action, I mean if the victims wanted they could've easily killed the first three soldiers, with knives or what ever. but clearly these people weren't prepared to fight, they just though that they are dealing with normal people now some one who enjoys blood sucking.
29. TO THE TURK #12
