There seems to be a bit of an imbalance here. The other thing, in the IDF video that was released, which shows the supposed attacks, there was not an activist shot. So what is the point of the video? Where is the IDF video of the shooting of the 19 people? What were the circumstances of the shootings? Witnesses say the IDF boats approached the flottilla shooting live ammunition - so at that point how were the soldiers in danger?

I do think the Israeli approach could have been handled much better but this woman is not credible... read what was said: She said the flotilla's participants did not have any violent intentions: "Our goal was to break the siege. We had no plans for a confrontation. Ok, no violent intentions but break a siege????? I am not sure if I am reading this correctly but this is an aggressive act! Again I want to stress that I don't think the whole situation was handled as well as it could have been! Turkey has a major responsibility in this whole fiasco and there is not much mention of them! The notion that these ships could enter these waters and go into the Gaza port without permission is just irresponsible... nothing else! I get pissed off when my neighbor puts his garbage can on my property (he does it without asking) so I can just imagine how Israel feels about the arrogance of people shown rallying together and making a huge display attempting to enter their territory... and attempting to show the world the Israelis are barbarians! uh uh... nope... maybe if I put a pitbull on my property my neighbor won't put his garbage can there anymore... or maybe he will and get bitten... will I be the villain!

I wish that MK Zoabi was correct in her assumption that the IDF wanted as many fatalities as possible on the activist flotilla to Gaza. If this were true the IDF could easily have bombed the flotilla to Kingdom Come, where they could have all met the 72 virgins promised to the defenders of the faith. Not one Israeli would have been harmed as this could easily have been done by a rocket attack from shore if the IDF was not trying to save the lives of those childish activists.
